Dude, first of i love your videos, I've learned a ton already! keep it up man! You had me laughing a bit when you said altercation though, which I think you meant alteration? :) Just might edit that in. Good work man, you're the man!
@PaulWhyte5059 жыл бұрын
Love your straightforward explainations. One small thing, and I hate to be one of those guys, I think you should be saying "alternatives" rather than "altercations". Where I am from one is a fight, the other is a choice. Like I said, love your videos, this is not a criticism just a tip. Looking forward to the next video.

I didn't realize I said that 3 times. Haha fighting with tools.

"altercation" the word means "A noisy argument or disagreement especially in public".

nice setup , I have a bunch of tool belts , the most common tool is the mini torpedo level and the measure tape and knife and pencil and square , those are the ones that you need all the time , the rest is optional , pliers , hammers and the rest are optional and you don't always need them

Bostitch makes a razor knife that holds two blades side by side so you don't have to carry two. You can buy them at ABC Supply Co.

Great video, the only thing you failed to mention was every brand name of tool you use. Good job, everyone else's videos are like commercials for DeWalt or Milwaukee.

Classic Work I just realised that You did not carry any Portable drills and or many drill bits. You rely on manual but many times it does slow things down but so do underpowered tools.
@EEJester15869 жыл бұрын
Richard Habicher I almost always carry a cordless drill, but I don't carry it on my tool belt. I've seen a lot of guys do that, but that's just one more heavy thing to have on you. To me a drill is in the same boat as a skill saw; always have it just not on me.

I've just come to realize a lot of people are using the combination flat bar/cat's paw. I usually carry a Japanese Dogyu cat's paw and a 15" flat bar which I'm very used to. Also I have the 2008 Oxy tool chest from Occidental leather and I carry a lot of tools on me and it feels fine. I love having almost everything I need at hand, all fitting perfectly and within easy reach.

You probably out of habit let myself keep the speed square in the back pocket for doing things with out a belt , but that top slot of the pouch is for the speed square, I have had thee same pouch for years, I love it, but I never put the square in the top slot either until a floor gave out and I fell into a basement and the square went into my lower spine, I'm lucky I can still walk, but after that I've always put the speed square in the top slot and it doesn't take up space in the pouch either , I've heard the same stories from guys falling off ladders and the hammer in the middle of the back of the belt paralyzing them, just a thought brother, keep these videos coming I enjoy the tips you have to offer ...
@EEJester15869 жыл бұрын
Jay Thomas Holy Jesus wow. I'm glad to hear your ok. I didn't know that top pouch was for a speed square. I'll remember that from now on. Thanks for watching, and for the comment.

Love these videos! Question for you: is there any way to keep the caulk gun from getting caught behind your knee when you crouch?
@EEJester15869 жыл бұрын
Thomas Bird That is hard to keep from happening. The best way I have found is to clip on your front pocket. It gets in the way, but you can crouch.

Hello again another great video have you ever given any thought to wearing suspenders with your nail/tool bag,they take a lot of weight off of your lower back & hips,thought I would suggest this to you again Great video!!! Nick

Alterations. An altercation is a fight.
@martinblouin36399 жыл бұрын
question like that, why you keep tow colors of marker?
@EEJester15869 жыл бұрын
martin blouin When I do a lot of flashing on chimneys there are a lot on bends, and cuts to make. Red is a bend, and black is a cut. This keeps me from scraping a piece I may have spent an hour on. Also someone is always borrowing one, so it is good to keep a spare.

You should try the new Gunnie Tool Holder for mounting your screwgun instead of hanging it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mdannKqB18jep4U.html also can permanently mount on tool belt. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m9N0ppl5zMfFqWQ.html
