So true sheik And most of us are lost and make mistakes because we don’t even know what the Quran means nor the guidelines… these should be reiterated before the actual ceremony or before- Alahumdulillah the sahaba understood the Arabic of the quraan and they had the guidelines with understanding. The men don’t treat the women according to the guidelines after marriage, by the time we learn and understand… it’s too late and Deen loving spouses are married to spouse who want to be “basic” Muslims. Astagfirullah how many women have been deceived at marriage by the spouse and the man’s family pretending to follow “guidelines” or people pretending to follow the Deen. So what do we do now as women who have been deceived… may Allah Ta’ala guide us all on the right path. They promise to be better Muslims then after the kids and living with the man… we get called “muftis” and looked down on as women who want better for their children and obeying Allah Ta’ala 💔❤️🩹 We get hated for loving Allah Ta’ala. What grounds do we have to save ourselves and kids now… ameen to your dua.

Or what about those Muslims that follow other than the Sunnah, certain Muslims from certain countries follow Bida'a and if you're a new Muslim and don't yet know the Deen well enough, you could fall for all kinds of things and later learn that it's not correct, and then it's too late. Or Muslims that are not very religious, and to a new Muslim they seem very religious compared to the non Muslim life they were used to before. And later you realize there's incompatibility in the hearts.

So true maybe the community can put together at least one yearly social event for brother and sisters actually on their Deen and striving to do it properly so it's not shamed or taboo jazakallah
