I just got super lucky, bought a 2015 6.7 king ranch with 42k miles on it.. rust free, garage kept, bone stock. Cream puff

Wow nice I wish I had that!

I bought my 15 6.7 around the same time you did and I'm pretty picky and thorough when looking and you hit all the good points when looking at one of these trucks the only thing off the top of my head to add is body mounts. Wouldn't stop me from buying the truck because it's a common wear item but just so I would be prepared to add to the list of things to do when buying one of these trucks.
@nick7.3982 ай бұрын
Oh fs, 99% of these will need them replaced including mine when I got it unless someone recently changed

Thanks for the video I’m currently looking to upgrade to a 6.7 from my 6.0, and this video definitely gave some things to think about 👍

I’m about to get a ranch hand on my 6.0. Your truck is so clean man!

You should also check for blow by. Went to look at one today and it was a beautiful truck exactly the same as yours and opened the hood and pulled off the cap and saw it steaming. Didn’t drive like it had blow by but if definitely had it.
@nick7.3982 ай бұрын
All engines have blowby mines got some too, it only matters if it’s blowing the cap off

I hate cheap tires currently have some furry 37s because truck had them but they just don’t balance well. Plan on getting some nitto or bfg all terrains when they wear down.
@nick7.3982 ай бұрын
Correct, they tend to never balance right, wear out funky and fast too. You would need like 3 sets of 1,000$ tire’s before they outlast 1x $2,200 set
@nicoguerrero88232 ай бұрын
Said they prolly don’t have quality parts then had rough country stabilizers
@nick7.3982 ай бұрын
Rough countrys good parts. Shocks dont matter also lol you wont break down or need a new engine over it.

I like the channel but you said people that buy non-namebrand tires probably cheap out on other parts but you have a rough country steering stabilizer set up
@nick7.3982 ай бұрын
Lol its just a steering stabilizer, I wouldnt ever waste big money on shocks, they dont effect reliability

Do u have problems sometimes with just creeping around low speed & when u slow down it do a hard down shift but not every time
@nick7.3982 ай бұрын
No mine shifts through the gears up and down very smoothe you probably have some kind of transmission issue starting
@sawyerbraley78189 күн бұрын
mine does that, dont think its an issue. Tcm just doesnt really know what to do

Your truck looks excellent and your content is great. But honestly I can’t see how people buy powerstrokes after looking under the hood of one. As a guy who does all his own maintenance/repairs, the complexity of a powerstroke when compared to a Cummins is a no go for me. There is shi* everywhere under a Ford. Cummins is super easy to understand a not filled with piping and coolers and crap literally all over the engine bay.
@nick7.3982 ай бұрын
An older cummins yes, all newer diesels have tons of parts under the hood, they look intimidating but are easy to take apart
@gtowncasey1112 ай бұрын
@@nick7.398 fair, but get under the hood of any cummins, new or old and they are all much easier to understand and see what is going on. V8s have damn bear double everything that I6 do.

You lost alot of credibility by calling cooper tires junk. Obviously have never owned a few sets. 68k miles out of my Xlt At3s on my 2002 7.3.
