You both are the luckiest people in the world to have one another. Perfection in a marriage is almost impossibe. I wish I had this kind of video when my kids were growing up. (didn't have computers or cell phones). They would have seen how marriage is supposed to be. The only time I smile or laugh is when I watch you two. I write down all your recipes. My great grandson loves to cook. So I am making him a cookbook with your recipes and mine. He will be able to cook for his family when he has one. Love you both. You are inspiring.

I had to smile when you lifted the lid on the skillet and water poured all over the floor.😂 I thought I was the only one who did that. Most days, I actually throw a paper towel on the kitchen floor to mop up the water spills I make during cooking. I now feel I'm in good company.🎉 Love your channel!❤

He does a great job at explaining every dish he tries, and that helps me to decide if it’s a dish that my hubby and I would like or not. Keep up the great work you 2. Y'all, the first few seconds already got me smiling! ❤ Another way I use kielbasa is with the Zatarain's Jambalaya with Cheese rice mix. I get some good color on the kielbasa and then add in the jambalaya mix, following those instructions. I serve it with cornbread, and even my 6 and 7 year olds LOVE it. 😊

Nice recipes, I'm going to make the rice and broccoli tonight. I especially like to see a lovely married couple cooking together. When we were first married, hubby warned me that he was not a kitchen guy. Slowly, over time I lured him in. First, I begged him to light the gas grill for me because I was nervous about it. Then he offered to do the steaks on it. Soon he was doing prep with me so we could chat about the day. It's been nearly fifty years since we started and we still cook together every night. Best of luck for many years of happiness together.

I grew up in Ohio and have lived in NY for the past 20 years. We pronounce it Keebasa. No L. I walked into the mail room at work the other day and I heard Mandy's voice. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I realized that my friend Dawn was eating lunch at her desk and watching your videos. I couldn't believe that someone I have known for years watches you too. Dawn and I had a great laugh over that. AS I was leaving working today, she commented that you were cooking kielbasa today. Also I didn't have stock so I used two packs of chicken top ramen seasoning mixed with 2cups of water lol. At the end I sprinkled sriracha and yellow bird hot sauces over and mixed it in. I can't tell ya how fantastic it turned out!!! Tonight I made it with broccoli and cauliflower with kielbasa sausage. Also added fresh chopped garlic. I make a dish with one red pepper, (cut in about 1” X 1/4” pieces) a green pepper (cut the same) and 1 large yellow onion or 2 med. cut about the same as the peppers. Oil the pan, add the veggies and sliced sausage and cook until the veggies are soft and sausage is cooked through. While I’m doing this I have rotini pasta cooking in a pot of water. Drizzle the veggie/sausage mixture with Italian dressing and add the cooked pasta. Add more dressing if needed. My husband loves this dish. I changed the original recipe a bit, since the linguine noodles were hard to keep on a fork. There were a few other ingredients but this is how we like it and it’s fast and easy.

Brown kielbasa, remove cook onions til translucent, rinse and drain sauerkraut then add to onions, add drained potatoes, place in oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees, top with shredded swiss cheese and cook another 10 minutes in oven. The most impressive thing about Hillshire Farm is they use really good quality meat and the whole place is like super super clean, their standards are higher than the government standards. @@maccusmc HIllshire Farms is in my home town Fritz Berneger started the company. I think he started it with his brother but I can't remember. I believe they started out by making German sausages. When the family sold it Sare Lee bought it but it's gone through many owners since then. When I worked there Fritz's grand son was one of the vice presidents. I worked in the Wiener room, Hillshire Farms didn't make hot dogs they made wieners. I worked in smoked meats. the deli meat clean room. the brat line. and the continuous kitchen and packaging room. I was also a meat grinder and mixer. I'd grind 1200 pounds of meat mix in all the seasoning then dump it into the stuffing machines so it could be made into rope sausage.

My family had sp ka-bossy regularly but it was a steamed or boiled dinner. My Mom would put water in Dutch oven with cut up potatoes, celery about 2” pieces, carrots and cabbage cut in quarters. Then she would put the Kabossy cut in quarters to flavor the water and veggies. Serve with rye bread and butter and mustard to dip the meat in. I like to butter my veggies and lightly salt. One of my favorite meals. Variation: kabossy heats nicely in the microwave as do carrots, celery and potatoes. They are quick and delicious this way also. Don’t forget the bread and butter. Enjoy how ever you make it.

OMG....Loved the creamy sausage pasta recipe...going to be one of my new regular recipes. Here's a tip for some add ons though that take it to the next level. I sautéed some mushrooms in the left over oil after cooking the sausage and set the mushrooms to the side. I added the mushrooms back in at the end when the cheese was added. Also, I added about 2 cups of broccoli crowns during the last six minutes of cooking. Lastly, when it was all finished, I topped with some thinly sliced green onions. That's what is so great about that recipe though, it's easy to add or take away whatever you want. Thanks for sharing....definitely a great one....GO TIGERS!!

The second recipe is a favorite of my hubby’s. Instead of plain tomatoes, the recipe I have uses Rotel. And I usually do pepper Jack. I whip up a batch of jiffy cornbread muffins while it simmers. It’s so delicious!

I made the cheesy brocolli kielbasa tonight for supper 🙂 I changed it up a bit using a stir fry package of veggies with a ginger garlic sauce and I subbied out the rice for cali rice to make it low carb for me. Soooooooooo 😋😋 😋

Hello Mandy. My husband and I watched this video and he mentioned he liked everything in the Cheesy Kielbasa, Rice and Broccoli Skillet dish. I made it last night and it was truly amazing. Our son gave it two thumbs up and it was definitely a 'go backer!" This one was voted on as being put on "the rotation". Keep up the good work. We have tried several of your recipes and we enjoy having new and different dishes to try.🤗

Your accent reminds me of my in-laws from Arkansas: "Bring it to a bowl." My California translation hears, "Bring it to a boil." I love you, no judgement, just a life experience. You are clueless, and I am amused. Love you.

Mandy and Steven, I love all your videos. The recipes are amazing and not a lot of extra seasonings that sometimes we don't have available. Thank for sharing. Sending warm hugs.

Me and my hubby just made the creamy sausage pasta tonight, and oh my!!!! So delicious. We changed a few things around and tried it with a red bell pepper, and 2 jalapeños instead. Sautéed the jalapeños with the pepper/onion/garlic and once we added the liquids in we also included 1 heaping tablespoon of Cajun seasoning!!! It was sooo yummy 😊
