Love my summer hats! I have a lovely straw Tilley, a straw with black ribbon, a yellow sport Tilley and a lovely vintage Kaminska. I live on an island but it won’t be warm until later in June! There are some nice little coffee shops for girlie lunches so I do like little summer dresses. Like the Ralph! Always handy to have one. Thanks for the hints.

This is a pretty comprehensive list for whatever may come up. I live 1-1/2 blocks from the ocean (central FL) so I can be on the beach any time, but this is still good to know in case I venture down to the Keys or over to some islands.

I recommend packing a UPF 50 rash guard and pants or tights. You can wear them in the water or on the beach to prevent sunburn more effectively than sunscreen. I usually match them to my swim suit.

I tend to pack a lot, too, but I'm also pretty efficient and organized with it. I guess that's left over from my military days.

Love the red blouse you're wearing. And your entire travel capsule is perfect. I do love a week at the beach. Here's a funny, I cannot ever figure out how to switch or use the gears on an adult bike! I have a little girl's bike about the color of the one you showed that's perfect for me. My feet even reach the floor when I'm on the seat, which is important for me. (I'm five foot one and half and inch tall)

Also, you should do a sponsor thing with Okabashi! They're in Buford, GA and they have the cutest shoes with great arch support. I live in their flip-flops all summer. And they are NOT expensive in the least.

Wow, I obviously take a larger suitcase because I need more options for changing weather and I like to change in the evening. I also booked one week, but Im going by train, so the suitcase doesnt matter. Though I lost meanwhile 20 pounds since beginning of the year due to the intermittent fasting, Ive still got pounds to loose and shorts that would be for next year (I hope). Cheers.

Beth, I have no idea how your channel popped up into my suggestions but I clicked on it having no idea you also are a Tybee Island resident. I just came back home (I live in another community golfing community) from Tybee (I had to drive I-95 through SC which is something) today after being there all week. I go back and forth. We live by the lighthouse when there. Have had homes on Tybee for 20 years. I guess YT suggested you to me because I have been doing videos from Tybee on my channel and I am 64 years old. Great to connect.

On the high/low dresses I would like some advice on where the the high side should hit. I had mine hemmed but was never happy with the seamstress that determined that length. I am 5'1" so being short may be the problem? It just didn't look flattering. Purchased at Chico and liked the color.
