mei ying!! if u dont mind me asking, could you do a video where u could tell us of any must dos or stuff that could be done to help us during the first few weeks at uni (such as getting ready for classes or making friends quickly?). it would be nice cuz im applying for uni next year and im a little unsure haha

Thanks for the video hopefully this video will be useful if I actually get into uni as results day is a week a way also the same day as my 18th birthday and I’m on countdown Scottish results day didn’t help with their results being lowered but only time will tell thanks for the vid though even though I’m only 1 minute in to it

Hi Mei ying I'm not in university yet as my a levels was cancelled this year. Firstly love these vids! Also I'm looking into buying apartments and renting it to 2nd year and 3rd year students. Weird question but do you have any advice for your current landlord as you are a 2nd year student. What things do they do well and what should they improve??

Hey! That sounds exciting and like you’re definitely making the most of the covid-19 situation. Student landlords definitely vary from place to place but the hardest things for us is that there are often lots of problems in this building with mould and the bed frames were broken, but going via our estate agents it’s been really slow to fix them. We’ve been having problems with our kitchen since September so that’s definitely an area that can be improved!

kings is my absolute dream uni for business management, i was wondering, since theres only one course for business and im leaning more towards marketing, do people pick business management but take marketing related modules? would that work out for jobs and such afterwards?

Yes! I believe first year the modules are compulsory but second year you can choose almost all of them. I chose marketing, entrepreneurship and consumer behaviour this year which are all business modules!! Good luck for application too 💕🌟

Hey, I am having lots of problems with accommodation (purely due to King’s technical error when I was trying to book my room) will I be guaranteed accommodation? Where did you stay? A member from King’s Residence said I would be on a waitlist for Wolfson House but I really don’t want to go there. Help!

Charlie Hudson the website didn’t allow me to book a room and i emailed them but it took them over a week to get back, by which the deadline had passed

Fahima Rahman I had an issue with registering interest but haven’t got to booking a room yet as I applied quite late although I’ve heard all the rooms are booked😅

Yeah, those dish things; 1) They’re expensive compared to normal sponges, 2) they’re worse for the environment as not only do they not last as long, but they have chunks of plastic you’ve to bin too.

You buy new heads so you don’t have to chuck them in the bin. We get ours from Poundland - both the washer and the new heads every month! It’s worth it if you’re in a dirty communal kitchen 🧽
