Things I would like to add if you are coming as a family is to bring a pressure cooker , a small puttu kutti 😁( the one you can keep on top of the pressure cooker ) , and other Kerala Breakfast utensil and the a grinding machine (important )because where ever you are in the UK you will find a Asian shop which sell all our raw food . When you realise that you don’t have the utensils to cook our specials will really piss you off . 🙄. Another important thing i would advise to ppl coming for the first time is not to bring any meat products. You will be given a landing card in the flight when you arrive in UK where you have to declare if you have any meat products , or other food items . Everyone tick no in the landing card but sometimes there will be sniffer bogs on your way out after collecting your luggage or some random luggage checks . If you get caught you will end up with a fine of upto £250 or more . That’s a hassle you don’t want when you come to a country for the first time !
