I don't know how helpful this can be for me. The video is clearly made for PC players, but I'm one of those who play on console. And how I had to learn from others I talked to: there is a huge difference between console and PC; so much that players who switched between systems stated it was like learning the game all over again. I light of this, I have no idea how much all of this here applies to me.

This is very well done surefour. To add on, think of flick shots as an educated guess shot. No flick shot is ever going to be 100%. Every flick shot is always an estimated guess shot of where you think you should shoot at THAT instance in time!

I feel like this tracking advice is really misleading and will hurt people's aim. You suggest that they pay attention to their cursor, but you'll find that you're going to either not predict their movement enough and your bullets will often go behind the target, or you'll over predict and miss like 5 bullets when they change direction. A better way to improve your tracking aim is to watch your enemy exclusively and not look at your cursor/crosshair at all. This intense focus on a target and following them slowly with your eyes is called "smooth pursuit". It's the same type of eye movement used in reading for example. The goal is to watch the enemy and allow your muscle memory to follow them on it's own, as long as you're watching them with a smooth pursuit eye movement you'll keep them in the center of your screen and track them perfectly with zero prediction required. If this prediction/reaction style is how you actually approach tracking, then you're a genetic god for being able to track with that style so well. But it is not the best way to do it and is not an approach to improve quickly. This level of reaction and prediction to get a professional level of tracking with this style requires naturally very good reaction times and thousands of extra hours of play to learn how to predict every character's movement patterns in every area of every map. Improving your smooth pursuit eye movement will DRAMATICALLY and RAPIDLY increase your tracking aim in every fps game with any character or gun that depends on tracking. In this sense it is universal aim improvement unlike your prediction/reaction methodology. You can do specific eye exercises to help this type of eye movement and your overall ability to focus. You want to imagine it like reading, you should be able to make out the color of everything the character you're looking at is wearing, their gun, how their legs/arms/head/etc. are moving at every moment the same way you can make out every letter as you read. Peer reviewed studies have shown this type of eye movement in humans and apes to be dramatically increased also when using hand movement to follow what they are tracking, which ties in with aiming perfectly. If done properly you should be able to track people equally well with no crosshair enabled at all. And disabling your crosshair completely when training this type of eye movement is a great way to help at first if you struggle with tunnel visioning on your crosshair instead of truly seeing and watching the character you're shooting at. Crosshairs are really only important for flick shotting as a measurement reference point that your eyes use to quickly guage how much arm/wrist movement your muscle memory needs to snap onto a target.

The crosshair aiming tip has exactly the same principlae as how I play pool, If i watch the tip of the cue I almost always miss but if I watch the ball I'm trying to hit instead the outcome is usually much better, great video :)

Holy shit this video has actually helped me soooooo much. It sounds dumb but just that one advice of basically saying "click on them not on the crosshair" and now I'm landing so many more shots, because instead of trying to move my mouse onto them I'm just moving it over them and clicking when I need to.

I am old. I have been playing these kinds of games since before most of you were born. I have never seen anyone put into words what most people just naturally evolve into doing the way you have in this dated video I somehow stumbled across in 2020. I have a son into gaming, and I couldn't explain why his dad had such awesome aim. I could only say, " Son, I was forged in the time of iron - and it took much sacrifice and toil!" I learned a metronome helps be unpredictable, I believe people catch onto beats easy. So like a song I will change my movement based on random rhythm and change the rhythm as randomly as possible
