i went to a dentist because i had a tooth infection and had to get a root canal fixed on my tooth and then he told me i should scale my teeth , because my gums were receeding , i havent went yet , next week i'm gonna do it , but i did do something , i changed my tooth brush from a rather medium/hard one to a soft one with a smaller head and honestly i've been using it for like a couple of days already and it's actually incredible how much of a different it has , my gums are actually looking better just from a few days , i did change the way i brush my teeth too , i take my time now , before i was really rushing it and being really aggresive which didn't help me at all , i do recommend from my experience to buy a soft toothbrush , works like a charm !

Hi Supa, what's your take on electric toothbrushes? I've read a lot of divided opinions some saying that it 'traumatizes' the gums causing them to recede or that they actually do a better job and so on...

Hi Doc, quick question about a bump on my gums, it's located below my left molar (tounge side). it's red and sometimes there's a white thingy but when i popped it blood comes out. is this a gum boil?

What’s the use of hard brushes if they are known to be so bad?

Not much, I don't think. That's probably why they are no longer on the shelves at supermarket etc. But can still use it for other things like scrubbing/cleaning appliances etc

My grandma bought the hard ones and they were so hard to brush I stop using it after 5 seconds.
