I find it amusing how quick Aqua threw Eris under the bus in order to get to drink the banana milk, I like that Makoto didn't let Eris try it at all the next day.

Makoto's robot-suit in the opening and the ending reminds me of "Am I Actually the Strongest?". That suit the main character wears to avoid being recognized.

Silly church, trying to pry into Makoto's mind is a fool's errand. Also, the princess sneaking around means the "hero" has to be near-by.

The new opening reminds me the s1 op. I think it still misses some action like s1 had. I hope this build up gives some good returns. I also want him to meet the other heroes.

The new op and ed themes are fire. I like how Syudou is back for another op theme just like s1. I was surprised Makoto went along with the church's threats so I'm glad that he did so because he knew they would not gain much for him anyways. I guess it is better than him being open hostile and starting a war between the demiplane and church, not that I believe they would lose in the end but it's not worth the trouble. Enraged Shiki and Makoto was amusing, Eris and Jin both messed up lol.

Thats right, everything that happened in the 1st cour is just an introduction. You could say, the 2nd cour is a convergence of all the factions introduced so far.

that "eminence in shadow-style" ending though. I do miss the light techno ending, but the new intro is better. Also, yes, now it feels that we are moving the plot.

So many teasers to many things and I definitely must say, that ED was very nice 👍. Now my one complaint, it seems we’ll be seeing a wannabe supposed “hero” with a magic eye again soon.

It’s spider themed because Mio commissioned it, but it’s based on Kamen Rider, which Mio is in love with.

In Tsukimichi its important to focus more on the individuals than the organizations. The woman in charge of the Church in Academy City isn't representing the whole church. The Church is a monolithic political entity with a lot of political influence... in the two largest Hyuman countries. The Church has very little influence in the third country that has its own state sponsored church. What I'm trying to convey is that the Church is a place where its leaders become political animals. They have internal power struggles. Winners go to the biggest churches with the most worshipers. Losers in those struggles end up in less desirable temples. Like Academy City. Or Tsigi. Academy City is still a decent posting, just not top tier. Tsigi is a backwater that is rising in wealth and prominence but the Church hasn't noticed and nobody with a good record would want to go to Tsigi.

The powersuit was that power that Mio showed and got no reaction out of that suspicious rock a few episodes back. And I guess our boy uses it to do hide his identity in those cases. though would love to see what kind of extra powers it gives him.

I love the new opening and ending. The opening promises a lot of interesting developments in Core 2. It looks like Makoto is going to be getting more involved in the happenings of the world soon.

The banana products keep surprise me every time a new one appears 😂 Multiple plot line has been set and I am so hyped to see where they lead 👀 The Opening for this cour 2 is absolute fire 🔥 But the Ending thought.... They really went the spicy and goofy way at the time 🤣 This man Makoto is about to become the Strongest Power Ranger of Isekai 😂😌

Season 2 part 1 was really good I had a blast. Yes its setup but seeing the opening and the numerous setups on this first ep of part 2 I'm more hyped than ever to see where it goes. I expect this to be the case of "the first part setups makes the second part even better" Thus they seem to have made a good choice producing 24 ep back to back and seeing as the quality is the same I guess they must have a healthy schedule like Shangri-la. There's still countless animes who would have been far greater being treated as 24 ep seasons instead of the usual 12 ep rush... We should consider ourselves lucky for things like Frieren, Ragna Crimson Shangri la, Dark gathering, Tsukimichi etc keeping close to the same pace as the original work with a back to back 24eps cour.

The church knowing that Makoto is not someone they can mess with was pretty funny. And all he had to do was agree to what they requested of them and show up. You already know Rona is gonna meet up again, but I know they're really teasing us with Makoto meeting the heroes. And one thing I think people are complaining about the "direction" is that everyone is so used to 12 episodes of crammed content when we're only halfway through. There's so many new things and new characters and I feel it would do the show an injustice if we didn't have all these storylines.

I find that bishop’s scar hilarious. Now, I’m sure there’s a tragic tale behind that scar, and everything. I’m not laughing at the scar itself. What I’m laughing at is how horrible that goddess is to her most devout worshippers. Serves the hyumans right, I say. The goddess could easily heal it for her, but because the scar makes the bishop ugly, the goddess refuses to do anything for her. One of her highest ranking clergy can’t even ask her to heal something that mares her beauty, simply because her beauty is marred.

I loved season 1 but season 2 is a slight disappointment. Season 2 feels like I'm watching cut scene movies on the early episodes, no flow, like the story is disjointed. Did they change artist or director? I say slightly disappointed because the last few episodes are good. A mash up of mainline story and side stories. Still have trouble accepting Makoto's MP armor and a few scenes that should have been included but not, also they change a few character and change some scene. I hope the rest of the episodes will get better.

To be fair, I don’t really care to much. Anime to me has to feel like an anime. It has to be relatively lighthearted, make me giggle from time to time, free from irl politics, and maybe or maybe not see some titties. (Optional). So for me, an anime can be a perfect 10/10 despite not having the best story, or animation.

I personally am not enjoying season 2. And after the massacre he did last episode after claiming to be an animal lover in the first half while in the second half massacring a whole lot of wild animals of that world after they were summoned and sent a confused looking demidragon to boost his student's egos, I think, the MC is getting a little too arrogant. I loved season 1 but season 2 is getting boring with the school arc. It going on for far too long for. That time I got reincarnated as a slime had a better school arc in my opinion. Here it just feels like they are dragging the school arc more than it was in the source material. If it keeps going on like this for more than 2 more episodes, I am personally going to stop watching this isekai.

I thought this was a good episode, but that it's still more setup. The festival content in this episode was fun, but I'm hoping that the setup with the assassin, church and demon plotlines start to pay off soon.
