The fact that the big war is foreshadowed is very hype. We only have probably a couple years until it’s in full swing like it will probably start in Snezhnaya. And the fact it was foreshadowed in an Itto music event is hilarious.

It was actually a smart move, to include these little pieces of foreshadowing in such a peaceful event, for the players to underestimate the meaning of this. Not necessarily related to the topic, but Hoyo did a similar move at the very beginning of the game, giving us Kaeya and Lisa - 2 characters with the most amount of hidden lore behind them. I know dawit talked about Kaeya, but what about Lisa? The Abyss mage in her quest, who was after one of the books from the library that "contained a secret" literally said that she hides her real identity, then Lisa gave it such a painful death, it let out a horrendous scream. The book is still in the game archive ("The Pale princess...") and the story in this book describes something related to the global plot. And I'm not talking about countless other details about her: her constellation, her time in Sumeru when Azar had been like "Yeah, she has that dawg in her", Albedo being suspicious about her being a simple librarian, given her abilities, her "More about Lisa: V" voice line, her nonchalant attitude when we first see her after Stormterror attack when she was like "Don't worry, Jean, I'll take care of this when the time is right". Anyway, I think it's worth a look by dawit. I wonder what his take on Lisa would be. The same goes for Kaeya, Hoyo just put him and Lisa - 2 endgame characters in order for them to be kinda overshadowed and underestimated, so that they can create a bunch of juicy plot twists, and they did a similar thing in the current event, dropping some lines of dialogue, significance of which may not be recognized, but when the time comes people will be like "OOOH, SO THAT'S WHAT THEY MEANT"

Honestly i think celestia is just a bunch of powerful genetically engineered humans instead of eldritch beings, genshin is a mix of fantasy and science fiction so it wouldn't be out of place and it's connected to the honkai universe. Also one of Genshin story themes is humans becoming something greater, dottore's goal, gold's project, the khaenriah ritual and that dainsleif speech "we will defy this world with a power from beyond"

I got sucha whiplash from that end scene with Yae and Miko, like it felt so RANDOM to be talking about an upcoming all out war against the Celestia in an Itto event (of all events they could've picked, they picked the one with the goofiest character)

Cryo Archon's reasons are simple. To her the ends justifies the means. The end is a world that only knows love, a delusional world. The means is hell on earth. Unfettered chaos.

Have I missed something or why is everyone suddenly thinking that Ei is gonna ally with the Fatui, ignoring that Ei and inuzuma is in open hostility towards the fatui. She basicly said that A. war must be avoided at all cost and B. that she will fight if she is forced to, together with all of inuzuma. While Ei has cut all connection with celestia, she has neither hate nor love for them, but is afraid of them. Still her relationship with it is still much more amendable than with the fatui or the abyss. And given the Fatui and Abyss always sowing chaos and are starting sh*t its much more likely that Ei will fight against them and potentially make a truce with celestia to preserve Inuzuma. So unless the heavenly principals wants to cast down/curse the people of inuzuma, Ei will most likely not fight them, and simply try to sidestep the war. Still Dain did say not to trust the gods, so who knows.

I am honestly so Adoring of Phanes/The Primordial one being the one who would truely fight for Humanity. Not only does it make senve with what we know about them, everything we know they have done has been for humanity, so they could a home, so they could live, so they could have leaders to guide them. People dunk on celestia in general because of things like the Archon war, but to the primordial one the Archons and God's hold less priority than humanity. There purpose was to fight each other in order for leaders to be appointed to help humanity. The Archons are not the rulers of nations to the eyes of Phanes. They are the servents sent to help the people. In the end they care about humanity more than anything else. If some theory are to be believed they came to Teyvat and usserped the soverigns for the sole reason to give Humanity a home after something happened to there old one. They would never bring judgment or ruin down to humanity. They love the humans, more than they love the gods, or the order of heiricahy. Humanity and they joy will always be the first priority. So throw away your misconceptions of the primordial one being a tryanical, ussper. Throw away the idea that they even at all care about the system if celestia and the Archons being in power. In the end, they will choose to protect humanity at a whole in the final fight. I think this is what will lead them to join forces with the traveler. Someone who has befreined, witnessed and understood all manner of beings in this land. They will fight together to protect their friends and dearly beloved humans.

I saw it as an war against either the abyss, celestia or snezhnaya (or the stuff caused by their rebellion) I feel like all archons are aware something is gonna happen and it's gonna risk the very existence of their own nations, with multiple threats being present. Otherwise zhongli would never try to see if liyue can defend itself. It's as if he knows that if liyue will be in grave danger, he may be somewhere else fighting an even greater threat...

Maybe the Abyss will make their come back in Inazuma? There is no Nail in Tsurumi Island, it's the ideal place for a leak and invasion from the Abyss (and we can see the Golden Wolf as a first sign of this invasion). And there is still the case of Seirai Island with that hole at the bottom of the lake, all these machines around and the Thunder Manifestation which is literally born from the hatred that permeate the area since the death of Kapatcir. Too much mysteries for this island, I just hope Hoyoverse don't forget it. 😅

I have few guesses about what war she could talk about, since there's multi "factions" in the game, most of them will fight agains't each others and not together. I think each factions will fufill one part of the final war agains't Celestia and the fake sky, but some of them will fail. Neuvillette can't win by himself, The Traveler is useless, the archons might fail because they are much weaker than Celestia's gods, the abyss might have a chance but with the cost of corrupting the world and to finish the Fatui have the best chance by collecting every Gnosis. I don't think that war will end in a good way, yes we might defeat celestia but at what cost? Remember that Alice said that something is trying to enter Teyvat by force because Teyvats barrier is weakening. If Celestia is the one keeping that barrier up with their "fake sky", if they are defeated, how it will end in the end?

I always thought that the Fatui’s plan was to either revive the Third Descender or otherwise harness their power in some capacity. If the Traveller joins them then that would mean they’d have two Descenders on their side, while the Heavenly Principles would have the First and Second Descenders on their side. But hey it’s just a theory.

You surely do get a point, but wasn't it said that Celestia was severely weakened after the whole encounter and war with the Second Who Came to the point that the two of them (PRESUMABLY the two of them, since PO was the winner, as far as we know) found a THIRD descender to kill off and make 7 gnosis out of them? My point stands that celestial power is wearing thin in Teyvat. Their whole little "The Sims: Teyvat" is falling at the simulation since when the fake stars begin to fall. Somehow, their code got corrupted. I have some little bits of thoughts about the original world of Teyvat and it's original inhabitants (thanks to another lore maniac, Ashikai) but I came up to that conclusion way longer, a little before the ending of act 1 of Fontaine. Humans are descendants of dragons at SOME capacity. The first civilizations were of of mixed breeds between dragons and whatever the f came with the PO. They were adapted to a world a lot more hostile and thrived for a while, but they were too free. Too much of a threat should their knowledge and power get out of hand - worse yet, probably they already had good relationship with the Sovereigns. At least at some capacity, since I noted that the previous Hydro Sovereign morr than likely lived amongst the people of Enkanomya either before or shortly after their fall, since they lived somehow close to his domains. And Nibelung probably lived in Khaenriah, I am fairly certain these guys are at SOME capacity descents of his own blood and flesh. Because... I mean... The Sovereign of Hydro is the God of Life, right? Apep must be an original "God of Wisdom" of some sort. But my point is... That ONLY the ORIGINAL god could make humans HUMANS. The fontainians, made by Egeria, were INCOMPLETE. BUT. The REAL God of Life made them the real deal. So... They must share something with the original world order, right?

At the moment, it is hard to say who is right and who is wrong. I am sure that in the end things will turn out very differently from what we all think. However, regarding Celestia, I have great doubts that all they want is for people to be happy. This doubt is raised by what happened with Sal Vindargnir (Dragonspine). Why was it necessary to destroy a prosperous nation? Even if Forbidden Knowledge was involved, why couldn't it have been handled like with Deshred? The nation of Deshred and everything connected with him was not destroyed. The other incident that raises doubts is Enconomiya. Why was it necessary to keep people imprisoned underground? Did they feel happier that way? Of course, we do not know all the aspects of what happened and Celestia's reasons for acting as they did. However, this does not take away the fact that there are a number of questions against Celestia's actions and how this is compatible with concern for humanity and human happiness.

The war Ei talked about is without any doubt the war that will be happening in Natlan.The only question is that is it gonna be a civil war that affect the whole teyvat or the begining of the actual war between heavenly principles and others.But I'm pretty sure the main war will start from snezhnaya.

dunno why YT recommended this to me but it couldn't have come at a better time, I've been trying to wrap my head around the fatui/abyss/celestia conflict because I've started writing a fanfic that's tied to it and I just could not keep up with all the individual moving pieces but seeing it all together here has helped loads!!! real excited to see where the game goes with this, but I really hope they learned their lesson about how to write conflicts properly. the inzauma archon quest centered on a war and..... I really didn't care for it not gonna lie. here's to hoping they get it right in Natlan (yknow a nation of war) and if they drop the ball after doing so well in sumeru and fontaine, I can only hope third time's the charm when THE war finally sparks
