Whether or not this was a dream visitation from Diana you had, it's not unusual for many people to have had dreams of her, seeing how loved she was and the grief people felt by her death. I know people who dreamt of her as well. Grief can bring on dreams etc. But if your dream of her gave you peace and helped you get better that's wonderful. Sometimes the subconscious mind can cause one to have a dream that reduces streets illness can create, and assist your body to help itself heal. Iv had very realistic dreams of my late husband that helped me start to feel more peace and eventually take away the severeness of the grief I felt and improved my physical health. I like to believe he really visited me. But whether he did or it was just a dream doesn't matter. I still got comfort and peace from the dreams.

Throughput the entire show, I could only see a mother Diana who was mother to her brother, to her own children and to the destitute children in the orphanages and shelter homes. Such a gorgeous woman she was inside out. I so desperately hope she'd have lived longer as the World badly needed a receptive leader. In awe and love for this beautiful lady always! We lost our princess Diana but her son, our future king William has found his Diana in our princess Catherine, our future queen. What makes me angry is that Charles was not allowed to marry the woman he wanted because of her past, so he married Diana at the families insistence. She was used by the royals to make it look good. Charles did not love her but did what he was told. He made the family look right. He ended up with the woman he loved, the royals suffered no loss of respect but a wonderful loving young woman lost her happiness and in the end tragically lost her life. Such a tragic mistake on behalf of our queen.

Angel? Hardly..She talks about how you can make your children feel valued..but yet she did an interview where she trashed their father, admitted to adultery..showing affection to strangers?..ok..but you can still show concern for people with charity work and meeting them...something the RF family did before, during and after Diana
@murph8837
@murph8837 Жыл бұрын
@@maryt2196 I am genuinely perplexed by the adoration this woman receives. Even as a child I felt that her charitable angle always came across a disengenous and poorly. These people throw around the description of angel/saint or being a good mother while knowing close to nothing about her. You do not need to be a super-slueth to discover that Diana was pretty much deeply flawed and unstable from the beginning. In her own family, excluding her older sisters, all of them had horrible and multiple marriages. That gives me the impression that this unstable behavior began before her tenure in the Royal Family. Her brother has been married 4 times and Diana's mother was married and divorced twice. Why people choose to ignore these warning signs, I do not know. While Charles is not blameless, he is hardly the main reason for Diana's miserable life. These people who fawn over this woman are so misinformed or willfully blind to the truth about Diana. Her charitable work in comparison to other Royals was basic at best. She thrived on her celebrity and photo ops but very little actual work. She put more work into into her clothes than she did to charities. I see the same attitude when applied to her eldest son and his wife. They praise William and kate like they are the most perfect couple when in truth there is very little that is interesting about them. They swing between boring and ostensibly phony and are used as a foil to Harry and Meghan. But I digress, I personally find it all ridiculously amusing.

The moment that absolutely brings tears to my eyes is 38:15, the way the gentleman to Princess Di’s right looks at her with such love and admiration after her speech at the 1993 Headway Lunch, when she’s just sat back down and she’s trembling with nerves. The way he’s looking at her, he’s so proud of her, he’s so amazed by her, he’s so in awe of her, and he is mentally saying to her, “We are all here for you, ma’am. We’re with you. You got this. Don’t worry.” And it’s SO powerful! I want to thank him for communicating that in that moment. The whole world was right there with her. And she was so afraid that we would turn on her after that speech, that she would be boo-ed or not accepted if she stepped back or wasn’t somehow the Princess of Wales. She was shaking with relief, and surprise that she received applause and support from the crowd. But we will always support her. She didn’t need the crown to be Royal. The crown needed her. And so did we. 💖👑

At Earl Spencer's (Diana's dad) funeral, Charles is reluctant to stand next to her and even delays walking with her to bid farewell to the bishop. In 1992 he had it planned that the marriage is over. It's so shocking that the way the media hounded her & intruded on her private life was just considered 'normal' at that time, & in fact Diana was blamed for the paparazzi's aggressiveness toward her & expected to just live with it. What a tale though. Sometimes when you look at it like this, it's hard to believe it's someone's real life. Diana survived it all, & turned it into her own triumph. Most people fall apart, lose their focus, certainly don’t become MORE beautiful, and outshine the very system that was swallowing them to begin with. I remember going to sleep and wondering if Diana was lonely tonight just like I was, which was most unusual for me. I hadn’t thought of her for months, nor did I know about Dody, I remember sleeping uneasy and when I woke up, I heard a few words, like royal and died and I thought it must be the queen mother who died, just to see on the news it was our Princess Diana. Absolutely unbelievable. This couldn’t be I told myself, couldn’t get my head round it. Surly I must have misheard. I still don’t know why Diana had popped into my head that very night into the morning hours. Premonition or just a gut feeling that something is up. I am still wondering as to my feelings. Strange things do happen and it’s not ours to know why. Sleep well Diana, your spirit remains with us. We love you.

@@suzannejenkins3896 Sad indeed. But all women wants the love of their husbands. And she allowed the pressure of those around her to convince her that it was too late to call off the wedding. Charles did not attend Camella's so she should have kept away from his. What an insult he gave to Diana before the whole world. To be standing at the Altar before her, and when asked "Do you take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife". He first turn to look at his mistress before committing himself to say "YES" to her. She was too shy for her own good. I would have walked out of that church, right there and then, before the whole world..... Can you imagine! Finding your new husband, on your honeymoon, looking at the photograph of his mistress! Only to realize that he carrie's that photograph around with him in his wallet!.....The gall of the man. I would have pushed him overboard. Honestly, the man had absolutely no empathy for his young bride. And then wondered why she stepped out into the spotlight at his expense. There were some particularly difficult things taking place in my life. My future was not bright. I was to turn myself in for a federal crime that carried a life sentence in a month. And there i was, alive. It was odd. All that was required was for me to be alive and, suddenly, i was the priviledged one. Diana was a beauty she had so much compassion for people! I 💘 her and met her in Person at the Patterson Sky Train in Bby, B.C for Expo 86! When they were married we were camping at the Willows in Osooyoos, with 200 other campers! Back in the days the tv's were limited! 😆

She did, she was the epitome of class. A rare blend of belonging to the people while remaining our regal, fairytale princess. She held the dignity and the Majesty and the STRENGTH to be the next Queen. She had the strength in common with Queen Elizabeth II. I love that about her. 💖

She was a very young woman when married to Charles by the royals, just 19 years old, Charles was in his 30's Diana at that time had no idea what Charles was really like or he had a mistress Camila, who he never stopped seeing before Diana and even during the marriage of Diana.

It's sad that Charles responded to Diana's needs with such indifference. It begs the question if he did so because that's exactly how he'd been treated by his own mother.

He probably did learn that from both his parents. There's a video of him seeing his parents after they had been away on a royal tour for months. First the queen decided to go to the races instead of seeing her children first. And then in the video you can see the queen greet her child with a formal handshake. Granted they were in public. But royal tradition probably enabled his behaviour even more. Not only was it incredibly common for royal men to have extramarital affairs, it was pretty rare for a future king NOT to have a mistress. Everyone around him would have cosigned the affair with Camilla as long as she stayed in her place as mistress. They only pushed back against her when they realised just how serious Charles was about his relationship with her. Otherwise I believe the family would have been quite happy to let him keep her as mistress as long as he desired, completely regardless of his wife's wishes. Unfortunately the monarchy is rife with rigid misogynist traditions.

@@kelsosunshine3400 exactly. Which is why I have no interest in ever joining the royal family. At least if they still maintain those attitudes. Hopefully these days it depends on the person. Sad that a group that are supposedly heads of the Anglican church have such an indifferent attitude about being faithful to one's spouse.

Truly, if he and Diana had been given a little more time BEFORE having to start their Royal duties and public royal life to actually have time alone together, it would have probably made all of the difference. Those five years that Elizabeth and Philip had, and the years that Catherine and William had, the years that Elizabeth and George VI had, it gives you a foundation as a couple with which to build upon so that when the you have the weight of the crown resting upon you, you have those years to know who you two are. He was such a JERK to her and it did resemble exactly how badly he was treated. I still think they are an amazing couple, I admire them and think what a shame it is that they weren't given more of a fair shot because there was such glory between them. When you watch their wedding day, neither one of them is nervous with that many eyes on them, they are both so calm and so knowledgeable of the fact that they have such an important and glorious mission to do together, that they cannot do with anyone else, and it's really awesome to watch what a power couple they are. And there is affection between them. So, it's always going to be a shame, but I know I am grateful she came and saved the monarchy, brightened it up, made him more fun and interesting again, brought two strong strapping good looking heirs to the throne and revitalized the heart and soul of the Royal family in a very short amount of time. And I would bet money that every time Charles looks at William, he knows it's all due to Diana that he turned out so well.

Charles tried very hard in the beginning but Diana proved to be too difficult to please. Diana cheated first with her bodyguard, Barry Mannakee who was married and had two children. When their affair was discovered they killed him for his betrayal. They warned Diana but she went on to have more affairs. Then she had the Morton book done behind the Queen's back as well as the Panorama interview with Martin Bashir in which she casted doubt on Charle's ability to be King, and that is treason! That interview sealed her fate! The secret service took her out.

Princess Diana was born in Sandringham for the love of heaven! The Queen’s palace! She’s related to Churchill, George Washington, and everyone else of importance, so yes, she was not one to be tossed aside. She was a strong, powerful, aristocratic woman. Not some upstart bimbo. I’m so proud of her. 👍🏻

Hindsight is 20/20 but they really fumbled a great thing, with Princess Di and the Monarchy has never fully recovered. Charles has always been an unlikeable ponce, while people would come out in droves to support anything the Princess was affiliated with. Stripping her title, & pushing her out, to appease a spoiled brat of a man, was a ridiculously bad call by the queen.
