Ki's troopers couldn't believe what they were hearing and were hesitant. Aayla's were angry, especially after all they'd been through. Yoda's were just following orders. While Ahsoka's were also following orders but Rex knew the truth.

@@GunterBagsYT When executing the order Bly and the 327th Star Corps wanted to make sure when they shot Aayla Secura they were precise so her death would be quick and painless. A lot of them felt like they owed their lives to her because of her quick thinking.

I feel like it was hard to follow up the Rise/Dawn/War trilogy. As a movie, Kingdom felt like it at least tried to give a new and developed story while still remaining loyal to the trilogy. The characters aren’t necessarily bad by any means and I actually think Proximus was the best villain of the series save for Koba (because I think we all know nobody’s beating him). I do also like how they let this movie be its own even though it relied heavily on Caesar’s influence. As far as Noa goes, I really appreciate the fact that the writers and director knew the difference between static character writing and character consistency. Pretty sure MoistCritikal mentioned this but Noa never wins a fight on strength alone. He’s very much characterized by his ability to outwit and outthink his enemies and the fact he leans into that makes for some pretty nuanced character writing when we usually have a character that will fail due to their strength in act one and completely flip the script by the end of the movie, using their newfound strength to save the day like most of modern media. Idk I feel like it was as good as we were gonna get for an unnecessary sequel to a complete trilogy and I think there’s potential to find a new story in this world to tell.

If memory serves right, in Legends, there was more than a hundred contingency orders for the Clone Army of the republic to be able to carry out, each with various rules and checks and balances. This was to help keep the Jedi from getting too suspicious about the one numbered 66, since it would be just one out of a fuckton of other very similar but meaningfully different contingency orders, and one that on its surface seems fairly logical, even to the Jedi. And the clones themselves didn’t have biochips implanted into their brains, instead carrying out those orders due to discipline, even when deep down they didn't want to (such as the narrating clone from the OG Battlefront II).
