You guys should do a Googan Cast about your favorite setups for different baits, like what kind of line, presentation, as well as other tips for jigs, moving baits, topwaters, finesse baits, etc.

I could easily make a career switch and be your guys assistant. I'm 34 been with the same company for 13 years full time and I'm currently a coordinator at my current position. It's a fast paced fast thinking on the fly atmosphere as it is I could do that in a breeze. If you guys are serious let me know cause I am. Did I mention I love Fishing? Lol

For fly fishing, it's common practice to reel all fish but when you have a small fish on or a lot of excess line out, it's easier to strip it in. Usually when you get hooked up you have some excess line out and you want to reel up the excess and then play the fish out with the reel. This makes the fight more interesting and fun and less likely you snap the fish off when using smaller tippets.

Rob I do saltwater fly fishing. Small fish I can strip in. But big ones (like bluefin tuna) are impossible to strip in. You have to fight it on the reel.

My gf is Bosnian and it's right next to Croatia and she said it's beautiful. Some of the prettiest beaches in the world. Wouldn't have gone there in the 90's but good to go now.

im glad you guys brought up some conservation and selective harvest stuff. a lot of people respect the fish but so many people kill just to kill. the trophy is worth more than the life of the fish and the future of its offspring to some anglers. more anglers need to learn and respect the need for selective harvest and saving the giants and letting them spawn to create more giants!

You guys need to come to Australia i thing you guys will love it and we have a very wide variety of freshwater to salwater species. Hervey bay is a great spot because we have fraser island which is a great fishery too.

Reel if you'd like. Strip in the smaller fish, reel the bigger ones (ie. Carp, big bass tarpon). Fly cast any way you feel is right, but I don't like to break my wrist. And remember 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock

One suggestion for Jon and Rob when you r casting your fly rod let the line load up and get all the way behind you. But don't let it fall to far down or else it won't cast

I have always fished for catfish perch and whatever else I caught.. im jus now getting into bass fishing with a spinning reel but the other day I bought a baitcaster and I watched a few KZfaq channels on how to use it but my first cast it bird nested really bad.. my question is is there any detail and useful videos on how to actually use it the right way... thank you in advance..

Chicken livers work for catfish, but you need to tie them on. Beef liver is tougher and wont come off. Mackerel works really good too, just make sure you use the fillet with skin still attached.
