A great narrative Roy. I was at Leeming on the Crash Rescue section and I recall your time there especially your supersonic proposal of marriage to your fiancée. Also I have a copy of the station magazine Excalibur reporting the event which has a romantic pose by you and your lady close to an 11 Squadron F3 on the magazine front cover with the heading ‘Love at Mach1. I am sure you to have a copy. Your story is spectacular. I hope you read this.

What's the aircraft on the RAF plaque, top right of the screen? I can't quite make it out. The back end looks like a Phantom, the fron end looks like an F-16 with a tiny chin intake.

Looks like an F4 but with a bright glass canopy, agree that the shape is strange looking at the front.

It's a Phantom - the Wing tank is there making it look like it's got the chin intake
