In British India in the 1920's odd stone seals kept popping up at ruins near Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro along the Indus river valley. They baffled everyone, with their inscriptions in a never before seen written language. Archaeologists, intrigued by this, started excavating these previously ignored sites.
They soon uncovered a 4,500-year-old civilisation. A civilisation completely absent in the historical record. One of the earliest urban civilizations in human history. It flourished alongside Ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and China around 3300-1900BCE but was bigger than all of them. A civilisation that built wonders not to gods or kings but to sanitation. A civilisation without war. Made up of massive planned cities built in brick. Masters of bronze and sculpture. They created their own writing system, traded across the vast sea, and possibly invented the world’s first indoor toilets and then vanished for reasons still not understood.
So what was this civilisation in the Indus Valley, what did they achieve, and what does it have to do with rubber duckies? Well let’s find out.

Even in first world countries like America many communities dont have clean water to drink

Great video as always! One of the reasons, speculated about the decline of the Harappan Civilization is the capricious tectonic activities in the Himalayan plain in the 3rd millennium BCE. Sarasvati had two major tributaries - Drishadvati (who had a twin river Yamuna - which flows into the Ganges) and Shatudri. Due to a major shift in the plates, almost the entire water of Drishadvati went into Yamuna and Shatudri changed her track to meet the Indus. This created a water shortage in the Sarasvati basin, followed by severe draughts. In turn the Indus basin flooded with the excessive flow due to inclusion of Shatudri. The Harappans were in the endgame. Some moved towards the West and settled around the Mediterranean and some moved towards the Ganges in the East. The drying of Sarasvati was mentioned in the Mahabharata, where a sage Pulastya talked about sudden invisibility of Sarasvati somewhere near the present-day Jaisalmer in Rajasthan to the exiled King Yudhisthira.

But as you suggested a pandemic kind of thing originated from a city and spread through whole civilization as all the cities where connected through trade people moving from one another like today. And apparently a pandemic like Corona that spread vast and due rivers population and sarswati river being getting dired. They used black magic, not swords. The split occured around 1800BCE. Persians lived there, & Greeks were of two types - pagans and none pagans. It would have been same with the Persians. Arabs are a mixed race today as are the Persians based on culture and language. As is most of the world based around nationality. However the focus of other states was religion and not castes.

They follow sanatan dharma (hinduism) they believed in one god having several incarnations. The unicorn which content creator was referring was bull. It is referred to as god Shiva's carrige. You can see trident and many other signs in harappan artifacts. They were probably shivaites . They used to write in symbols formation instead of words. Pottery, farming, buisness, culture, festivals were there main fields of involvement. There is much more to be discovered in depth. This content creator tried to tell about Harappan civilization, but it seems that he had not properly researced all the available sources to make thia video much more better and conclusive. By the way it was nice to hear something about ancient indian civilization from a foreign individual.
