I have a Barbie Dream house in my attic in perfect condition. My daughter that just turned 50 received it when she was small for Christmas. Her girls played Barbie's with it when they were small. Back in the attic, because they are all grown now. Also, oldest daughter 54 has her Barbie house in attic. Three story townhouse with drawstring elevator. What great memories I have. My son is 17 now but I still get as excited as when he was little. I'm 59 and have been watching your videos for over a year now. And, just a few weeks ago I decided to bring a couple of my Mom's porcelain dolls out of the tote that I've had in my closet since 2007. Well, I decided to set them both out on display on my dresser in my bedroom. I gifted these dolls to her for Birthday presents which happened to be on Christmas Eve. Now, every time I see them, it gives me a good feeling and reminds me of her and all of the great Christmas' we had together as a family. Some Christmas presents do end up as keep sakes of wonderful, magical memories that were made when given at such a special time of year! Your videos are the BEST! Your opening reminded me of when my grown daughter was about 6 years old. We were in church and our pastor in his sermon opening, was “thanking everyone for their presence today”. She leaned to me and whispered, “Momma, we didn’t bring him a present”. She was so concerned. Loved being reminded of that memory. She is now 41 years old with an 11 yo daughter and 13 yo son. My father was extremely abusive. However he always tried to be nice on Christmas so these are the only good memories I have of Childhood. We kids also got 1 gift. Pretty much what we asked for but just one so we had to think carefully lol. I love seeing how you are with your children and how blessed they are growing up in such a loving happy home. This brought back such lovely memories Merina, my three boys are all grown men now but we absolutely loved watching them on Christmas morning. We didn't have a lot but, what we did have was spent on the kids. I'm sure we got more joy from those gifts than they did lol. Even as they grew, from teenagers to young adults, I still told them to wait upstairs so I could see if Father Christmas had been, it was met with groans but they humoured me lol. I LOVE your comments on protecting their childlike innocence as long as possible! My kid's big ticket gifts this year are an electric guitar (17 yo boy), electric drum kit (16 yo girl) and Lego Van Gogh Starry Night kit (12 yo boy). My oldest 2 are very musical and play multiple instruments each and the youngest is very artistic and creative.

They make something called Le-Glue. It's non toxic and it binds Lego's together but it's also non permanant so you can take your project apart with warm water. A display case is another nice option for your finished projects. Happy Friday!!

Love the video, we didn't get our kids much we are a family of four living on my husband's disability. But God is always provides. I have 2 teen girls 16 and 19 , we got them earrings and for both. My oldest got car seat covers. My youngest loves to collect pocket knives so she got a rainbow knife. Both love the move how to train a dragon so they both got toothless earrings and keychains. I hope your family has a wonderful Christmas!!! I have a suggestion for all the little toy parts. At dollar tree you can get some storage boxes. Get one for each set. Shoe boxes work too. Then nobody is crying over missing pieces. I did that for years when mine were young.

Yes! I do the same shop for my daughter all year for x-mas and birthdays. I save for the most important dates that way I'm not stressing or worrying about buying gifts when the days arrive lol. We do spoil our daughter with gifts to open along with gift cards for like gas in the vehicle to personal items that she may need. This world is super crazy right now I agree 100% . We do what we can around the the holidays for family. We have such a large family that we do a gift exchange we all pick names which works better for everyone as a whole. ❤ .But saving all year for the BIG day is the only way to do we can do it. The kids are going to be so happy, that's the best gift back to us parents. My home schooled teen wanted many very big Lego sets, so I've been working extra hours and got them all for him, he has been a great kid all year.

My girls have a 80s playhouse and it took my husband all night to put On those tiny flowers in pots! It's in my attic and will not depart from those huge playhouses! Lol..my oldest is 52 and youngest 49! But Barbie is still in our family! Sweet memories!😊

We bought that gymnastics set for our daughter for her Birthday last year and it ended up being one of the best gifts we have given so far. Any kid that comes to play at our house usually end up playing on that, girls and boys. I know you don't LOVE to share what you've gotten your kids for Christmas... but I am thankful you do, it really does help give ideas.

I got my son a gaming PC and a curved monitor. He has a ps4 and Xbox. He’s been asking a few years. I thought he would grow out of it. But he hasn’t at least he’s a little older and he will take care of it. He better. Bc it was ridiculously expensive! But he’s a great kid. And he’s been through a lot. My mom used to try and go big every Xmas. She also had 4 kids And a single mom. So I know it wasn’t easy.❤ your kids are gonna be so excited! It’s great that you guys have a bigger place now. You have really good kids! I know some ppl think it’s excessive. But in their homes. They can do what they want.. I’m trying to think of other things to get my kid. He has everything and I don’t want to buy stuff I’m just gonna give away in a few months bc he never used it. Only other things he would want are expensive Jordan’s.

When you bought the VR headset we bought it our son and that was a big hit and I got the idea from you from last year video. He's played it so much that he pretty wore it out! And I want to say thank you for for being amazing and so kind hearted 😊❤

My kids are 29 (I had her very young) and 17. I got my 29 yr old daughter a 58 inch tv, a washable area rug, and a retro stuffed toy that she’s had since she was born that she still sleeps with. It’s hard to find and I found 2 on eBay for her. My 17 yr old son wanted a hunting bow, a target, some games for his pc, and clothes. I have 2 grandchildren and I got the oldest, who is nearly 9, a tv, some clothes, and bedding. She’s obsessed with satiny bedding. The youngest, who just turned 3 and we suspect is autistic, a guitar, painting supplies, a drum set, an art easel, a huge chalk board, and clothes. He doesn’t communicate much but he loves music and drawing/painting. So, I got him things that I hope he will like. My husband I’m redoing our extra bedroom as a music room for him. He has a bunch of guitars (at least 30 of them) and he works as a corporal at a prison. He works a lot of hours and double shifts. Some weeks he’s at work 80 hours. They have to staff the prison so if people call in the people on the previous shift have no choice but to work another shift. So, I wanted to do something that he could enjoy and relax with on some of his down time. I’m repainting, doing new flooring, and making a wall to hang his guitars so they aren’t in closets anymore.
