Howdy Partner, I reckon it be another video.
Today, we decided not to do groceries, but rather spend an entire day out on the town. This means two things:
1) We got blisters from walking on cobblestone.
2) We can spend money at our favourite restaurants for the day.
So come see the cost of living in Prague if you were to eat out for every single meal. Luckily, this is just a once- a-month type thing for us as we have daily meetings with daddy TESCO.

Zkuste i jiná města v České republice. jsou také krásná a cenově o mnoho levnější než Praha nebo místa zaměřená na turisty .

Je mi smutno z mého hlavního města Prahy. Ceny jsou v centru příliš vysoké. Turista musí hledat mimo centrum.

No na druhou stranu, kdo z průměrných Čechů snídá v restauraci, mezitím si jde dvakrát do kavárny a večeří v restauraci? A kór v Praze.

Certainly Prague is getting more expensive but the video does not reflect the reality. I would NEVER EVER pay 150 CZK for 2 small coffee to go. The couple seems not to care too much about their budget. Having breakfast nearby the Charles bridge is for sure more expensive than normal. Unfortunately, a beer price of around 60 CZK is not that unusual nowadays, although you may get it somewhere else for 50 CZK or even less but directly on Andel there are plenty of "hip" (and expensive) restaurants. Prague is still affordable if someone does not stick to the touristic places. But keep in mind that accommodation prices have almost doubled compared to 2020.

@@conceptalfa its already very expensive and despite what Tom says, paying 150 for 2 coffees would actually be a pretty good price even for outside of city center. Usual price for 1 coffee is around 80/85 CZK. And if youre having a breakfast/brunch in Vinohrady for example (area outside of center with tons of cafes and restaurants) expect to pay even more than the 490 for 2 ppl. The dinner they had was also quite modest and in a relatively cheaper joints of pubs (Kozlovna). Beer prices for Pilsner Urquell are usually around 60-70. I actually would say this video is very informative in order to get an idea about the average prices in Prague. The only thing that was off were the candy which not many locals buy at these kinda stores.

lived there for 3 yrs and I recommend you to go Irish pubs in Prague because they are better than pubs in Ireland (no offense Irish friends)

It's definitely getting expensive. But again, it does Matter where you stay. Old town doesn't come cheap as all. I'm sure there's still a lot of other places which serves equally good food and the prices are low. Unfortunately being a tourist you are never going to find local places. No KZfaqrs ever does any videos on local cuisine in this places..
