Anurag kashyap ki starting movies were all scene by scene picked up from movies across the world. No smoking which i used to think was very original and creative was picked up from various russian turkish movies, the final scene of dev d which i used to think was life changing is also from a turkish german movie geiger die wand. Dude used to write good realistic dialogues but imo he had style and range, range that he couldnt expand and style that got stale.

Unka perspectives alag ho rahe hai. Gangs of Wasseypur was indeed a captivating film series! The story's depth and characters leave a lasting impact. He was bashing modi (not criticising government per say ) and that was the issue that made him look very amateur.when it comes to intricacies towards politics ..but I don't it has effected his art because even Kamal hassan is very opened for his political views but his dedication towards is very different ...what I feel kashyap creativity is affected by the people that surrounds him who used him to spread their political propoganda who are in turn spokes person opposite party ..they act as intellectual but most of the time lack creativity and intellect ..and their accompany and validation trapped kashyap

Ramgopal Varma and Anurag Kashyap have been phenomenal filmmakers who brought novelty and innovation to Indian film making with realistic stories and direction, but unfortunately they have fully destroyed their careers with egoistic behaviour, drinking stupors, intoxication with unknown substances, bad social media behaviour and many more. I watched his latest Kennedy but he is unable to blow my mind like during Black Friday, GOW, No Smoking.
