The 4th chapter is the time when my friends and I returned to this game, fhe entire s1-s3 map is remembered by all 3 of us, the weapons were amazing, especially the shockwave hammer and the katana and now that we are playing in ch 5, we still miss the map of ch4. I dont care if ppl think this is a filler season, and it's probably the reason why we still play the game

I can’t lie chapter 4 was easily my favourite Fortnite chapter and I’ve played since season 1 of chapter 1, the loot pool, map and vibes were all amazing and the season everyone hates “wilds” is actually one of my favourite seasons of all time

Chapter 4 was a originally supposed to be a part of chapter 3, which is why it felt so rushed: it wasn’t intended to exist. Last resort, Mega, and Wilds all had files that were linked to chapter 3, implying that chapter 4 was a last minute decision. Also I actually enjoyed chapter 4, season 1 and 4 were some of my favorite seasons ever, season 3 was eh, and I didn’t like season 2 (controversial I know).

I played in ever chapter on a regular base, but chapter 4 was really the time when I didn’t touch the game AT ALL. Which is crazy when I think about because fortnite is easily one of my favourite games

It was just the worst as the map was empty with way too much dead space and no landmarks and the current map falls into it a bit. Also the event was a cocktease for the new map. We saw cannons, the steamy stacks cooling tower, the rocket, mech parts, etc. also I hate how now each chapter has new weapons ever new one and nothing can be old at first and it isn’t that fun. Also it really took the trend of epic removing something if it doesn’t fit the theme to a new level. It’s just annoying and not fun as just keeping fun stuff. Also I like augments but as you said they removed the old ones that were good and kept the boring ass ones. I mean the flint knock and ballon ones were quickly removed same for the combat shotgun and tac ar as those are some of the best ones and they just couldn’t keep them for some stupid reason. Also the chapter 4 map and now 5 are smaller than the others which isn’t good as it’s all cramped. Also a gripe I had with og was that polar peak returned in its shitty ruined form. I mean it should of been the castle as the castle was a fun area.

Ngl Last resort is better than Mega sure we had Spiderman AOT and Star wars but nothing can top the Rocket ram, the old myrhics and the poi's

I really liked chapter 4. During chapter 3 I didn’t really play it at all cuz I was probs HEAVILY burnt out from playing since S6CH1 but when chapter 4 came out I really enjoyed them (though I forgot it existed when season 3 came out and I wish I had gotten the super styles cuz they looked sick)

Chapter 4 was the first fortnite chapter i was in because i always had the notion that fortnite was bad cuz it was popular(yes i was one of those people) but when i had my first xbox i was bored af and decided to download fortnite and man that shit was fun. It was a switch in my mind. And im not usually the type of person to feen on updates or battle passes cuz i dont mind and im broke, but the gameplay is fun and the map is just a map for me, and chapter 4 was fun ethier way.

Pretty much agree with all your points in this. As someone who's been playing BR since Ch1S3 (really Ch1S4 cause I started in the last 2 weeks of S3) I've seen all of Fortnite BR's ups and downs and Ch4 was a shit show of good ideas and mixed execution. Also obligatory new sub mate, keep it up.

Chapter 3's ending was rushed and probably went through development hell. There was a lot cut from the storyline.

To be honest I feel like Chapter 4 season 1 should have started with the map smaller and the other pics floating around slowly come closer to be added to it. Because you know it's a bunch of fractured pieces from different lands, it should not come together that fast. But maybe it would be short updates. But on the other hand Chapter 4 feels not complete, its like it was rushed and started off at the wrong time. I think we should have stayed on chapter 3 for a couple more seasons to 1 because I feel like going from vibing to fracture was way to big of a leap. Maybe have season 8 be the fracture of the map and we have to go back in time to save the Zero point from shattering, bringing us to OG Fortnite.

I will always hate chapter 4 for ruining the good chapter streak, ch4 s3 was agonizing and i basically forced myself to play it until the summer event dropped where i stopped playing all together until s4. Ch4 s2 was pretty good in the start until it got boring asf, mega city felt empty and the other pois were pretty bad and around nobody landed there. Ch4 s1 was pretty decent, i liked the new pois and the loot was pretty nice. Ch4 s4 was by far the best season in chapter 4, the pois were great, mythic was nice and the loot was pretty alright it was also the only season i got over lvl 150. Overall i think ch4 was a 4 outta 10, i think it was really just a big let down from how great ch1, ch2 and ch3 were
