@Dennis The Golden God Reynolds That's utter nonsense. He was smeared by the media and Labour Tories didn't like him - after all, he wanted to tax the rich just a little more, and MPs get paid insane amounts of cash. His voters were not university mouth breathers, whatever the heck that is (you seriously trying to suggest breathing through your mouth, one of the very orifices you can breathe through, is an insult of some sort?). I even met a Tory voter who was going to vote Labour after seeing how scummy Tories were. There were lots of aspects to what happened to Labour, but the very first was not being anti-austerity enough - hence SNP's initial massive vote share, then smears, and the stupidity of so many Britons who didn't like someone to think about and consider things before acting.

Lately, Merkel says she finds so much calming as little, Ukrainian children (whose parents are poor and so do not evacuate) are dying in Sievierodonetsk, as they died by the thousands in Maritopol. She should be transported to the front lines to see if she finds getting shelled by Russian orcs trying to kill all civilians as "calming." Given her comments, and her support of the current government's efforts to just pretend to send weapons but to delay and delay in sending them and to send very few of them, she should be investigated (including other members of her party also) to see if Putin may have kompromat on her (and them) or if they were not just "useful idiots" but Russian FSB spies. Merkel better hope that hell does not exist. Thanks to Gasprom's Chancellor Schroeder and Merkel, Germany is now UTTERLY DEPENDENT on Russia and must not annoy Putin too much. Also, since a war game study of a Russian invasion of Poland before the Ukraine war indicated that Polish forces could only have stopped the Russians for days or weeks if they had invaded Poland, thanks to those SPD members, Shroeder and Merkel, Germany was utterly helpless and ready to be invaded by Putin if Trump had won the last US election and pulled the USA out of NATO, as he planned. Read "Trump was planning to withdraw US from Nato and ditch South Korea alliance, according to new book" in yahoo news. Were Shroeder and Merkel just incredibly, amazingly, outrageously STUPID to render Germany so completely helpless and defenseless by not arming it and buying Russian gas to enable Russia to rearm FOR MANY YEARS, or just secretly FSB agents of Putin? Here in the UK, the MSM ignored or papered-over the industrial rape of White children by Pakistani Muzloons for three decades until it the indigenous Whites were near to riot. (The BBC scum who publish clips like the above were egregious in this respect). One politician, Nick Griffin, had pointed out( quite accurately) that the Koran specifically sanctions rape (and enslavement ) by Muslims of the wives and daughters of those defeated in Jihad, and the UK government tried (twice) to convict him under f the Nazi-style "hate speech" law. (In fairness, it was a Crown Prosecutor of Pakistani Muzloon heritage who eventually started prosecuting Pakistani paedophiles preying upon White children)

You could say she precipitated the gas crisis by making Europe dependent on Russian gas, there are also questions about the long term stability of EU without it's second largest European economy UK. Also there is the question of how do you integrate millions of refugees into German society and economy? I'm not a German but I don't like people making unilateral descions on my behalf with immigration and Energy supplies. Thankfully I don't have to pay for it.

Well, so far the European Union, the german government and multiple other governments agree that russia is not responsible for the current gas crisis. When it came to the refugee crisis, actually most germans were on board with her actions. So far the integration process is going pretty well, though there are always some problems along the way. And concerning the EUs stability without the UK: I actually would say that in the long term the EU could profit in this regard from the UK leaving. In recent years the UK was a constant troublemaker blocking senseful reforms left and right.

@@derriegel5705 Ah yes, nothing is ever Germany's fault when it goes bad, but Germany is totally at the forefront when it goes good; Name a single regulation the UK blocked that was Senseful or, to correct your horrible ingnorant english, Sensible.

@@derriegel5705 Fair enough, we'll see what transpires then. I politely disagree, shadenfreunde. Also you have an issue with the far right in Germany, and who's going make up the difference in EU budget? Germany(by Far) and UK were the few countries actually paying anything into it. Thankfully I don't have to transfer monies to far right eastern European countries, no more! If you think UK is troublemaking, wait to you see Polish and Hungarian trouble - victor orban anyone? Also elections in France and the Netherlands could lead to those countries leaving EU. If Marine (shudder) le pen gets her way. Kiss my arse my friend xx The US warned EU about Russian gas, I see UK with AUKUS CANZUK arrangements, not EU.
