It's Malaysian culture, for us it's impolite if we just leave without helping the host to clean up.

Don't get embarrassed. It's common in Raya, your guest helping you to clean up. It's kinda a bit of the culture. Especially they thinking as a family or close friends. Thanks for the efforts in making all of those. Most of us celebrate it as simple as we could. Stay Safe and Healthy.

We as malaysian always gonna clean our plate by ourselves after eating at people house.. That's a habit😂😂😂 we only left it behind if we eating at restaurants, but you can see a lot of malaysian also cleaning the place after eating at restaurant too, to make easier for worker over there and also for person up next to eat..

IChang and Jimmy made everything from scratch! No instant premix sauces or curry. That in itself is amazing! Even if it doesn't taste 100% like the Malaysian food, it's the effort that counts! I am very sure the 3 Malaysian friends felt very touched and honoured to be invited and served with food made truly from the heart. Thank you for sharing this video.

Normally Malaysians abroad will prepare the traditional food to be served to the non Malaysian especially during festivals like Hari Raya. But this is a total opposite. A foreigner in a foreign country preparing Malaysian dishes for Malaysian abroad for Hari Raya. I can't stop grinning from ear to ear and at the same time feeling happy and touched when you're trying your very best to celebrate Hari Raya with fellow Malaysian. It doesn't matter if you put too much or less...everyone have different taste...you just cook the way you like..the way that you taste the most delicious....anyway it's how much effort you put in making the dish, that make the dish delicious.

Wow!.....your Hari Raya open house brought forth a pot luck spread from your Malaysian guests, combined with your authentic Malay dishes, cooked with sheer effort & knowledge beyond belief. I can feel & smell the ASMR of your food, the brilliant colours of your sambals & gravy smacked of yummy good taste. Ditto, the lemang came with banana leaf wrapping & infused flavour. The warm hospitality was overflowing with festive spirit.
