The new movie “Civil War” asks: what could happen if the system of checks and balances that hold the United States together falls apart? Audie talks with the writer and director of the film, Alex Garland. It follows journalists as they make their way through a war-torn American landscape, one where Texas and California have gone to war against a three-term president who has disbanded the FBI and deemed journalists enemy combatants who may be shot on sight.

A man who has been to a few civil wars told me how it works. Warlords in different places will have local control. Think Baltimore, Chicago, South Western USA, Atlanta, South Carolina, Montana, Texas and so on and so forth.

I'm one of those men and that's partly how it works. The 2 main powers vie for government control whilst warlords would pop up. Allied to none but used by everyone for chaos or control. The worst ones would hope the one they work with wins. It's an economy killer as well. Bartering returns quickly. Those who require special medicine die. Quite nasty.

@@PC-tc5je Ya knooow, just for the whim of it. It could be easily argued that the M4 platform, with it's outstanding recoil system, doesn't require much in the way of wrist strength. In truth, I think we both know, any real firearm, used for real work are designed to be as easy to use as possible. It's only the larger firearms, or showboaters that really require some physical demands. Me personally, I adored the MP4A5 for close quarter work, but LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEED reaching out with an M82. But, the M4 platform is the most common weapon in the USofA, so. I think you may wanna reconsider, or at least go look online, cause we libs adore our firearms quite a bit. We just all have that one uncle we wouldn't give the remote control to the TV to, let alone a firearm. Once more, we like video games soooo much, and ya know what's controlled by game controllers? Drones. Drones are controlled by the same kinda controller we grew up with. Have ya seen what the Ukraine has done with a standard store bought drone and some grangades? Have you ever seen what our army drone pilots workstations look like? Guess what they use.... game controllers. But, ya know. I'm sure, you've got this.

Ben Sailsbury and Geoff Barrow who did the score were actually going to record the score for Dredd, but Alex Garland (who wrote Dredd) went with Paul Leonard Morgan at the last minute.They released the soundtrack later as DROKK ( Garland and Barrow are huge Judge Dredd/2000AD fans). I'm 99% sure this is Garlands loose prequel about the end of democracy of America, before the fascistic Judge system took over. If you know 2000AD/Judge Dredd lore, you can see it!
