Great job on the update. One of the things I like about you and your channel is you keep it honest and real. You talk about the troubles or mistakes you have and you work through them with us watching and learning too. The channel has a little bit of everything. Anyone can find something they like or relate to. I have enjoyed the journey of watching this channel grow and I look forward to the future videos. Thank you BBFDMV!!! Tight Lines!!!

Thank you for this one! Great design! We use those aluminum rivnuts on our aircraft at work. They do very well! Just have to add grease to each bolt going into them so they don’t corrode. Otherwise they will tear them out when removing later on. We fly around loads of salt (coast guard).

Great job on the boat! I like the ideas you have. I had a similar experience with my first build, where I learned what worked and didn’t work on it. Now with my second build I know exactly what to do. I like your hatches. I’m going to watch the videos on how you make those.

Love this channel! I watched the entire build series and happy to have an update. When you were describing securing your stripped out deck, I thought "rivet nuts" then you said it. Keep up the great work!

Nice video! When I use my trolling motor I leave my 9.9hp motor locked in a straight position in the water and it acts like a rudder. I have my trolling motor slightly off to one side and not centered and when I do not have the big motor down I have a hard time driving in a stright line.

Bro,that's hard to believe that's your first build...thats REALLY NICE AND GREAT WORK YOU DID. How long was the build? As I mentioned to you before I just finished with my build(very first build)not a nice build as yours but I think I did a pretty good job for it to be a pelican intruder 12.i was lost when starting the build,took me a week to get the nerve to start. I wish I could talk to you more and talk to you other than on KZfaq,as I said I don't do the social media thing. Fan of your work from Greensboro N.C.

I have the same boat except it's the 1448 MT. I wish I could do exactly the same thing you did to yours. It looks so clean, you did a great job. How much extra weight did it add and how much $ did it cost?
@BassBrothersFishingDMV
@BassBrothersFishingDMV 2 жыл бұрын
Not sure about the weight. I didn't really keep track of the cost at the time but materials to do a build like this can easily cost $3k to $4k

Been watching some of your vids recently and I have an Alumacraft 1442 that I am looking to do some modifications to. I was thinking about extending the front deck to the first seat, basically how you did yours, but I was curious if it matters to raise the platform up? Do you think it would be ok to create a platform out of aluminum and keep it at the same level of both the platform and bench. Then just covering the bench, platform, and platform extension with an adhesive deck material. I wanted to see if you had any opinions on this. Also if it matters, I use it strictly in salt water.
@BassBrothersFishingDMV
@BassBrothersFishingDMV Жыл бұрын
I would defintely use aluminum for salt water. Raising it up helps to provide balance while standing on your deck. Of course it's all personal preference but I would recommend adjusting your casting deck so that it's level from front to back.
