Some regular glasses are less than $100. Not saying they’re not worth it but it is expensive

Don’t expect to get the features because you won’t get them. You cannot ask the glasses what is in front of you she will not respond. She is going to say she doesn’t have that feature right now

Thats correct. As mentioned in the video though, that is their "goal" and it appears we may get that in a software update. Fingers crossed @@SayLessAli

YEP! That's what I did! Now, I did my order at a Rayban store, so not sure about other avenues but yes, I got transitions + UV + prescription. Close to $600 out the door for me.

I ride an electric unicycle at 40+ mph and the commands work perfectly with All the wind noise .. one of the things I was super surprised about .. maybe you need to exchange yours

There ISN'T a landscape option? I don't know how I missed that.. That should maybe be much more talked about and upfront, unless I was just unlucky to not come across that info until now.. But any and all consideration I had regarding even potentially getting these in the future pretty much disappeared with that alone. I consider it a significant, colossally huge con. That said, I guess it's somewhat cool to know that people who do irl live streaming and whatnot are likely to adopt these in the near future, and could contribute to a potentially slightly better experience for their viewers and whatnot.. unless they're like me and can't stand watching vertical videos. @@shawnsmith3959 Hey, I appreciate the time you took to reply to my comment. I ended up buying the glasses late February and here is my experience so far: At the price I got them for I love them! My insurance covered €420 of the €718 price (transition + prescription lenses), so they cost me €298. At this price, the audio & video/photo capabilities are worth them to me. I am genuinely surprised at how much I love listening to audio on them! It has become my main use for them: it makes me want to go walk outside way more than I used to. Also the microphones are excellent for phone calls and so far no one receiving calls can tell I’m talking from my glasses…But strangers looking at me weirdly for talking without my calls without a phone takes some getting used to 😂 Taking daily slice of life videos without bothering those around me is a close second favorite. Also, despite vertical not being my preference, I am pleasantly surprised at how good horizontal cropping videos is for daytime / well lit situations. If I am not mistaken this is a big upgrade from the first generation glasses. Photos in the day are okay but I find myself reaching for my phone (or bringing my DSLR) more for those, because 1) I have to keep my head still, 2) I dislike the vertical ultrawide aesthetic for most pictures (I’m more of a 35mm max kind of person). Low light photos are absolute trash. Low light videos are not much better either, but I was surprised how decent they are when I am not moving. Stabilizing in low light situations causes video quality to diminish exponentially in my opinion). Not surprised by any of this as the software must be working itself to death in situations like these. The issue I was concerned about when driving is very real, so I have another set of sunglasses for when I drive. The modal AI functions are still blocked in France so I still have no experience with them yet. That said, many European countries have been quicker than expected on releasing this feature so my hopes are up for it becoming available by the end of the year. Overall at under €300, they are my favorite unnecessary geeky tech gift to myself in a very long time. I love them despite all the improvements I hope will be resolved with future models (and I hope my insurance will keep the prices low on those too 😂).

Thanks! Those are prescription + blue light protection and are transitional. Just paid to upgrade… worth every dollar

Yea, they’re worth it. It’s pricey if you do the additions like I did but worth it 🙌🏽

Plan to do a more in depth video on extra features but it’s pretty good. Bass is strong and it feels like you’re wearing a headset on top of your head. Since it’s not IN YOUR EYE of course, it’s not my first pick but gets the job done. For phone calls… surprisingly crisp and the recipient apparently can’t even tell!

True, as mentioned in the title. It's just a quick breakdown since I only had em for a couple days. I think a "FULL REVIEW" is important but only have I can use them for a long period of time. LOL I was kind of thinking the same thing. Yes being married is a partnership, but I hate when guys make it sound like it's the wife that controls things. My brother in law calls his wife "the boss" which is ridiculous.
