#2 I'm really taking care of my needs in relation to this relationship. I've given him so much already and I emailed him a few days ago after a few years with no contact. As soon as I saw that after one day he hadn't replied, I let it go, not checking to see if he had answered but to respect what I need right now, that is to focus on myself and at the exact moment that I feel the need to check, I will, but only when I really want to. I'm at a point where giving and taking needs to have a really good balance in my life, I won't give anything to anyone until I feel the excitement and passion to do it. I will only give to the people that value who I really am. You want me? You need to give me what I deserve, which is unconditional love.
