Undercover might actually have Torpedo, not Squid Beakon, which is great cuz it needs help to poke enemies.

the new season's looking pretty good! another idea i had about the new king salmonid: those giant marks around the ground could actually be marks for where it'll basically put out a splattercolor screen?

Torpedo is not likely. Wiper already has Torpedo, and with the smaller classes, the devs don't like giving them the same subs.

@@shadewful. for the stamper the inkling definitely has to be using sub saver because I feel like stamper is the type of weapon that will always have a bomb as its sub like the splattershots

The more I think about the concept of the new special, the more I like it. It can only really work in splatoon, since in a slower paced game someone could identify their teammates without dying first, and obviously colors are very important in this game

I don't mind there only being 8 kits but the selection was strange. Like why is there no charger kit? I hope they just didn't show off everything in the trailer.

i strongly believe that there are gonna be more kits than what was shown thus far im basing this assumption on the fact that previous seasons always had a salmon run map to go along with them but this trailer hasnt shown any new map (barnacle big run doesnt count)

The new king does have a sticker that resembles it, its called LGF8Z. Which I think is an abbreviation of Large Face, which I find pretty fitting

I have a theory for this new King Salmonid. I think he’s gonna JUMP. And after he’s jumped he’s going to act as a Mock Inkstrike, trying to eat you from above. I’m not sure if it’s funny, or just flat out terrifying.

it could either jump or what little we could see of it could just've been the front half of its body like a maws, so it'd be a demon from hell trying to swallow you whole (but would also be somewhat of a reference to shiver's boss fight? maybe?)

I was actually thinking the new King Salmonid would launch a big Inkstrike, following the theme of King Salmonids using their versions of Specials (Cohozuna = Splashdown, Horrorboros = Booyah Bomb) I do wonder if Splattercolor Screen will be the counter to Kraken Royale? Seems to be really weak to it if not.

I swear Splatubers can’t read/see sometimes lol. Undercover clearly has its line at 65%, which you can see clearly if you go frame by frame. 65% is torpedo, which makes sense since Kensa Undercover had Torpedo and was really good. Also Tenta Brella already has squid Beakon so it’s not likely undercover would also have it

You can't please everyone 😃🖖 Its dangerous to confirm sub-lines because at the same time you have to factor in the potential for Sub saver being used in any case. Even though it hasn't happened in the passed it does not out way the potential that it might be true. Therefore this is why i don't concretely confirm THIS IS THE SUB WEAPON if i don't see that sub weapon actively come out of the player. Also i don't really get what is the problem? If you watched the trailer maybe you missed one thing, not everything might apply to you specially you could of nerderd out and literally you knew all of this before watching the video. If you don't like it cool! Its not my issue i just don't understand the passive aggressive back hand on something so subjective.

I do not agree with the titling of the video since it seems misleading to me. again I am saying to "me", I said before that this is "in my opinion" as well. i didn't sugar coat it and simply left my thoughts about this video in your comment section.
