What You Must Know BEFORE Deciding: Honda Elevate ZX vs Kia Seltos HTX!

In this video we compare the top-spec ZX variant of the new Honda Elevate and the HTX variant of the new Kia Seltos. Both cars are hot topics in the Indian mid-size SUV market right now and this comparison includes their Dimensions, Practicality, Exterior and Interior Design, Powertrains, Features and Colors. We also share our opinion on both these SUVs.

The Honda Elevate is 4312mm long, 1790 mm wide and 1650mm tall. It has a ground clearance of 220mm and boot capacity of 458L.
The Kia Seltos on the other hand, is 4315mm long, 1800mm wide and 1645mm tall. Its ground clearance is 190mm and boot space is 433L.
Both come equipped with Manual and Automatic transmissions.
Honda Elevate has only a 1.5L Naturally Aspirated Petrol Engine option with 121PS power and 145Nm of Torque, where as Kia Seltos comes with a 1.5L Naturally Aspirated Petrol Engine which makes 115PS and 144Nm, and an additional 1.5L turbo diesel engine with 116PS and 250Nm.

My opinion is HONDA ELEVATE is Best Because Best Build Quality , Ground Clearance 220 mm , Good Refined Petrol Engine and Good Design in front & Rear looking than Seltos. & Maximum Boot Space ❤

Go for the Elevate. Honda Elevate have the best driving position, comforts, 2nd row spacing, interior spacing, boot space, quality for ride and interior details, down clearance, ADAS, powerful n/a engine with good mileage and the top model offers a excellent feature which can be easily justified its price. Elevate is good option for those drivers who need the top of the line variant below 20lakh. other all Mid-size Suv's top variant cost more than 20 to 24.50 lakhs. Honda has done a really Excellent work for Elevate, even though it lack some feature such as 360* camera which could have been offered and etc. Mid size SUV buyers go for the Elevate, it will bring an new experience and enjoyment !

Honda Elevate is no nonsense car absolutely and drives like dream on road. There is certain body roll on mountains but overall it beats Seltos in driving and space which as per me is much more important than features. At the end of day, it’s engine which makes the car not the features. I am just eagerly waiting for my Elevate and will definitely share the video.

Space wise Seltos has more space in rear seats.. You can have 3 adults in rear with seltos but not with elevate... Engine wise yes Elevate is better i would say apart from the rear seat issue everything is awesome in elevate

At the end of the day, it's not only engine but features also that give you comfort and safety. As automobile is more of want than need. One can manage with car of 10 lacs also with reliable engine like Amaze. So, to go for features or not is purely subjective and varies from person to person.

@@anujpratapsingh9993 no Yr I don't think so... for a 4 seater car we have to spend close to 20 lac for top model....that too for mid sized...I don't think it is a good choice especially in a country like India.. not a family car.. a chauffeur driven it is

The prices for seltos are incorrect, the 1.5 NA petrol is about 1863100 +/- approx depending on area , not above 19 lakh

In Delhi, the prices are as shown. Even now - 17.7 for Manual and 19.35 for IVT.

I also booked Seltos IVT. I agree Elevate safety rating will be good but Seltos is value for money and much improved safety features. Elevate engine is good but Elevate space is bit cramped and also interior quality is not that great. NCAP rating of both the cars is still not out. So people who are talking about safety needs to wait for the NCAP rating. Also Elevate offers only 2 airbags unless you buy top variant. Spare parts issues for brands like Honda and Volkswagen again a big challenge. All these points needs to be kept in mind before buying a car.

Honda is losing its ground now. The quality of seats and interior don't match Seltos. It could have introduced some more trims with more features like ventilated seats, dual pane sunroof, electronic parking brake, tinted glass, ambient lighting, TPMS, front parking sensors, etc. These additions hardly increase on road price upto 20 lacs as in case of Hyundai Creta Petrol Adventure Edition. But the ones who don't need these features, Elevate would be a better option as it still has edge over other cars in terms of mechanical and electronic advancements.

Congratulations, it's your money choice is yours. Although talking about the safety rating elevate doesn't have an NCAP rating yet, I don't know why people are raving about its safety. 2nd seltos have more safety features and excellent interior with good driving dynamics.

Diffrent people different choices. My choice goes with features and looks. Ncap testing doesn't goes with both brands as both are newly launched. As it is said that elevate is featured with Honda City may be it will also get 5 star. Well apart this I upgraded Seltos from Alto so I think there was no star rating in Alto. Best wishes👍
