I am black, living in Bozeman, moving from a major east coast city to Bozeman. I have had an amazing time in Bozeman and the people here are amazing. Yes, it Is not as diverse as a major city, but it is definitely welcoming. Diversity also doesnt always mean skin color. I was never shocked on the lack of diversity because I didn't expect it in terms of skin color.

Bozeman or the county lacks the infrastructure and water supply for natural disasters, forest fires…it will all go into ashes in the event there are fires. So as potential homebuyers…paying for an overpriced home, high insurance and the potential to loosing your home to a natural disaster…I’d look elsewhere.

Bozeman is my hometown and one of the big things people should know before moving here is that the locals will hate you before you ever open your mouth. If you don't understand why, then you're not ready to move to Montana and the locals will probably make your life hell. Lol. There, I saved you all you need to research.
