The King is Watching is a city building roguelike game where we have to build up a city to fend off waves of attacks by some pesky goblins!
Our city is quite small, we're limited to sixteen different structures, but as the name of the game says, The King Is Watching, which means that only a set number of structures can work at any one time; those under the Royal Gaze!
Our gaze is set in size and only covers a handful of tiles, but we can move our gaze around to make different buildings spring into life. If we need wood we make sure to watch over the foresters, if we need wheat we cast our eye over the farms, that kind of thing.
We also have to train troops in order to fight off the enemies, which get stronger with each wave, and with enough iron we can level up our militia into swordsmen. Then there's the unique concept of a flour dragon, a dragon we produce out of... flour... no I don't understand either!
NOTE: This is the demo version of the game.

Let them prosper under your gaze
Your gaze determines which buildings will produce resources. Skilfully balance resource production, troop training, and magic guild. Glance at the wheat fields, and your peasants will start harvesting. Avert your attention to other royal matters, and production will stop. Only you decide how your kingdom will labour, so choose wisely.
Establish production chains
Build production chains and acquire the rarest materials to build the strongest buildings and warriors. Trade resources and gather ancient magical knowledge for better protection!
Defend your castle
Build a mage guild and start producing spells to help you defend the castle walls. Train knights and archers and improve your defences. Did we mention that you can produce flour dragons?!
Customize your building experience
Build and customise your building deck to better suit your playstyle and strategy. The game offers a variety of ways to build and defend your kingdom, so experiment to your heart's content!

Omg Penge!!! I never yell through the phone as much as I did. Every time you tried to do the Flour Dragon you either didn't have enough flour or you had too many people🤣🤣 love this little game💝

this is a neat game (: i think the dragon wasn't being made bc you were maxed out on population limit maybe? so ideally you switch to producing just dragons, and sell your iron or ingots instead of the flour to get more money and so you save your flour for dragons clay is something you barely use unless you're repairing your wall, so it should be on an edge or corner and a more valuable / more often used building should be in the middle 4 blocks

Omgosh I LOVED this! Totally wishlisting it! Keep on Keeping On, Penge, and thank you SO much for doing what you do! I'd love for you to revisit it when the full version comes out. I think you were doing great with it~

I dunno why... but making dragon made of flour like if you made dragon bread.... I thought it was more made of clay. And actually being a giant Gargoyle.
