I’ve stuck with attunementless because I figure while everyone else is trying to master fancy elements, I could just use a big sword and punch people. That and I can’t make another build until this one wipes, and 85 fortitude doesn’t let you die easy.

As a flamecharm player, I'm more of a mid level player, been using flamecharm since day one and I usually go pve and have one wep for pvp. I like it for its versatility and it also looks nice with azure flames.

Im attunementless/galebreath main for all the wrong reasons. I use galebreath jetstriker felinor (do I need to explain more?) and Attunementless because it just looks cool in my head for some god damn reason

I use gale thunder dual attunement. Thunder for static takeout and gale for inhale, maestros blade, and after cut. Paired with spine cutter, and windup, you basically have an unlimited backshots build. With this infinite backshots build, I will prove that gale thunder dual attunement is actually busted.

From a frostdrawer to a galebreather to a dual attunement wielder TO an attunementless, and soon to be Ironsing (I've just had the urge to unlock it) I've tried almost everything, but I am nowhere near the level of skill required to pvp, so I stick to PVE.

as an attunmentless heavy main, i made a star kindred clone build, and i see the appeal.

I used Ironsing for a Blood Borne build, and it was fun but damn was it just to easy. Even for 1v1's people complains that I was using its passive ability (Which you use mainly anyway) just to rack up damage. Its nerfs were needed but did it barley do anything after learning the PvP system Ironsing can still be very broken (Im using Frost now just to make a Viking build).

I remember when ironsing first came out, I made a pve build the day it came out (I think) with all dvm gear kits, highhandedly got build carried to 1.2k elo, ironsing was so broken back then, after I realized how braindead it was, I still wont touch it with a 10 foot pole.

I just use whatever i feel like using on a build, except for ironsing because there is no way im able to solo a boss for pluripotent alloy just yet(i mean, i cant even finish trial of one yet), but i normally go with gale for the mobility or attunementless so i get more stat points

ive been a gale main since release because i always liked wind abilities and ive stuck to it because i mainly also use whatever looks visually pleasing

as a shadowcast main, i honestly agree especially that shadow seekers can just 1 shot as long as i hit them once and i love galebreath especially curved blade of wind :)

gale is like the apple of the attunements, its basic, good, and simple

I use galebreath but I'm only a pve player since I'm not good at pvp yet. But I locked in on galebreath when I noticed it had quite a few range mantras and the wind step so I can scale walls with my race: felinor. Which I use for primadon and I usually am the one to place the guild base on top of monkey's paw when we beat the fuck outta prima.

Lolol, im still pretty new to deepwoken, first i thought thunder was cool but i realized it kinda sucked pretty fast, i havent used ice much actually because at the time i did use it i was so bad I couldn’t even level up once. And now im using fire, i don’t really like fire for how stereotypical it is and standard and plain it is. But, that campfire ability is neat, thats my favourite part about it. Everything else is locked though im not sure how to get any other mantra.

Honestly, I don’t have a favorite or a hated attunement, it just relies on its build or purpose Flamecharm in my opinion is pretty good once you can learn to not spam ash slam or use flame hero blade crit as a crutch since the combos can destroy people. It’s also the easiest attunement to get in my opinion and is kinda underrated ngl Frostdraw is the same for Flamecharm, because almost all frostdraw users spam the ice hero blade crit. This attunement is actually pretty good for pve and pvp since the gran suda can absolutely destroy chaser Thundercall, in my opinion(and yes I’m kinda biased) is absolutely meta for pvp. It’s moves let you do combos and combo extenders, and has a pretty good source of mobility with spark swap or lightning cloak. The downside is that when you fight a thundercall user, they can make a epilepsy light show with all the effects Shadowcast is probably the best to use against mantra spammers, or attunement users because all its mantras are based on stealing ether lmao, but when fighting one it is probably the most annoying because you get full blindness with mantras or mantra spamming themselves Gale breathe is a pretty good attunement for being extremely mobile and fast, so running away with this attunement can leave your enemies far away. This is also a extremely good attunement for speed running L2 or pve itself Ironsing is also, even with all the nerfs, is op because of the mantra damage(it does pure dmg and not stuff like bleed dmg) and the most hated attunement because it legit does 1 bar per m1 or mantra Attunement less is probably the best for silent heart and only silentheart. Although attunement less is also a really good for when you want to save your points by not investing points into your attunement and instead into other stats like fortitude. This also makes you really tanky as a class

Frost is just fun. Also good for traversing, you can use frost arc as a bridge way up

“Pve trying to make a pvp build” describes me perfectly. I have a pvp focused medium attunementless contractor which I use almost entirely for pve

For along time I ran Attunement-less with just kicks and my only goal was to get sky shattering kicks Mantra, it was fun while it lasted

I know nothing about builds. I usually just go for things that seem helpful. Granted, I have only just gotten to the point that I know how to hit the F key. Maybe I should look into some respectable builds for frost-draw.

attunementless krysblade jetstriker. i just play attunementless because i find it to be the most fun. my build isn't anything crazy, but it gets the job done.

As a shadow main/gale main, i can say that i feel ashamed from what the shadow builds metamancers are now... i just wish to go back in verse 1 and just having fun with shadow. Just pressing shadow gun and demolish the opponent if they're not good at the game, meanwhile i appreciate the fact that finally the gale pve community gets the respect it desserves. 7:38 as a Gale + X attunement (or just gale only) main I gotta say, asking why its so eays to make a montage with it is a stupid question, try dashing backwards and gale lunging to the back of your enemy spine cutter then cuppercut into rising wind, and then ask.

I think all attunements are fun and have their own thing to it.

Attunementless main here, i just wanna get high requirement stuff without shrine of order, oath i just do whatever i feel like, and yeah. i mainly voidwalk for progress and heavy main. i see way too many arcwarders stormseye and curves in chime tho

My favorite build to this day is my railblade Shadow Lava serpents build (which still doesn’t have an oath yet lol)

For gale heavenly wind is literally the best crowd control in the game.

As a flamecharm user (that is literally new, level 11) I find it good, but not very good. I think the moves are very good for PVE, but for PVP you actually gotta be skilled for some shit, I'd say mid-level, some moves are very, and I mean VERY, cracked for PVE.

Thunder is literally the meta right now, has some of the easiest mantra's to hit with some of the highest damaging moves as well

Silent heart, gale, and rarely ironsing is what I use. I’m mid at the game and complain about getting 2 bars knowing damn well knowing I can parry.

My favorite thing in the game is to go greatsword attunementless. A lot of times Starkindred for the rising slash attack added onto my build. It's an absolutely HORRIBLE build, but it's fun.

I guess I'm different from what you consider common Thundercall users. I ain't tryna be different, I'm just very new to the game, and I love lightning powers in any game.

I'm not sure where I fit in. Im a complete freshie, but right now, I'm using flamecharm and frostdraw, I think they work well together and look nice.

My main pvp build is ice gran star kin and I just do uppercut crit rising knee and ice daggers and ice lance combo, make a build on it

As a ironsing user i honestly dislike iron hug gatling and fire line, hug is only valid for block break punish, gatling is just move to the right check, and firing line all you gotta do is parry and hit them once then free combo.

About attunementless, most of the time they just run strong left you blink and then you are knocked, most of the builds are like that

im watching this right now as i make my first genuine non attunement-less run ever, 60 runs in. i honestly just played mantra-less attunement-less (not even always silentheart) because in my mind, id never be able to play if i couldnt master the fundamentals first. i wouldn't say ive mastered them, but im able to hold my own against a lot of voidwalkers, kill a lot of depths enemies at level 1 (cant kill owl or enforcer at level 17 :sob:), and humanoid enemies are a piece of cake. i also never really watched guide vids or builds which is why i cant beat owl at run 60, but i think ive gotten far enough where this will change. wish me luck on the gale run im about to begin!

I tried to make the most fun build i could think of and it turned out to be shadow hero blade and galebreathe build. I picked all the fun mantras for me, like wind blade, wind gun, shadow eruption, and some other stuff. The build is fun as hell even as oathless. Using it in any fight feels amazing. I encourage everyone to make fun builds instead of copying others homework to farm chime for elo. You dont need elo to be good at the game.

my favorite attunement has to be thunder bc of how it plays ranged and rushdown but ice has been calling me bc i love ice in every game but it plays super defensive in deepwoken

As a flamecharm player, I am kind of new and very shit at this game. I'm not new i was here since verse 1. but i still die immediately to the stone knights whenever my friend brings me to hive.

Thunder and lightning is just my favorite element in general in anything so it will always be my favorite
