I for one enjoyed GK's back when the Marik structure deck dropped, the only reason non-Zombie players are mad about Necrovalley now is because keeping Invoked/DPE/Branded/Tear nonsense dead in the GY as Takahashi intended makes them mald. Even though the deck's win percentage is dependent on the starting coin flip, whether or not your opponent has literally any hand traps to blow you out if you don't open nuts and have to search, or Lightning Storm/Feather Duster/Evenly Matched to obliterate backrow. Plus, ranked-game meta slaves deserve to get 5-for-1 hand ripped every once in a while as a treat; if my deck dies to a single Ash Blossom OR Imperm, I'm fine with your deck dying to a Necrovalley AND a Royal Tribute. For my friends that want both players have fun if they deign to not play a mirror match, there's my "lore-accurate" GK deck that runs more monsters than Commandant, Spiritualist, and Headman, all at 1 like one of those trash anime decks, or something decent-yet-casual-due-to-being-outdated like Glad Beasts or Infernities.

Branded has actual combo strings to play around handtraps ofc a lot of starters search branded fusion and if it gets ashed u loose some times but it has varriety of end boards and combos while invoked ends on Machcaba hand traps and maybe schisim (the shaddol trap)
