In freshman year my friend accidentally ripped off one of my straps while we were horsing around. My mom asked if I wanted a new backpack but I insisted I was fine wearing it on one shoulder because I didn't want her spending more money. A few weeks later my friend returned the strap to me with tons of handmade sharpie doodles on it and offered to sew it back on as a peace offering. Best backpack I've ever had. I miss it sometimes.

I graduated high school in 2013… my freshman year 2009-2010ish jansport somehow was a high ish end brand and was only sold in Pacsun, tillys and surf shops. Idk when Walmart started selling them but they were like $45 bucks. I had gotten a pink one at a thrift store, it was a little worn but I made it work 😊

No if you had that roller backpack everyone hated how annoying it was in tight spaces because everyone would trip over them because the user was normally too petty to actually wear it when we’re all cramped ✋ 😭

I have had the bag with the wheels mostly my whole life Ever since i was a kid my bones break so easily i cant carry heavy things! I went into multiple surgeries. My parents would not make me take any backpack..at school i used the elevator until somebody got stuck ( shes okay) so i started using the stairs and having the school helpers help me i was always nice to them and i would take some of my books out to carry them in my hand because i felt bad for them my bag was so heavy!

I had a side-bag from 5th grade to 8th. Pretty easy to carry, if you get tired just hold it it from the bottom. I did end up walking weird and having uneven weight divided on my shoulders

I had one for about a year but everyone teased me, calling it a suitcase, that after a year I gave it up. plus everyone hated me because I would accidentally roll over their feet when rushing to class. I guess having an extra set of wheels to consider, combined with me not being very aware of how much space I take up in the first place, was not a very good combination.

My backpack was the last one. I was always like last to leave the classroom when packing up and sometimes late getting to class. I rarely tried in class yet my teachers loved me and people were nice to me and I was nice to people.
