I was hoping it was going to show Kelly as a "youth" surfing the local beaches in Florida as a kid. You could tell he was going to be a star even back then. He was that much better than everyone else his age. Cocoa Beach is very proud of Kelly and will be known for producing the best surfer in the World. You can guess, I'm from Florida and surf Cocoa Beach. Kelly was always someone I looked up to, even though I'm a little older than him.

I remembering him paddling out at SI as a kid and almost everyone paddled in to watch the show!

October 2nd, 2019 is the date. I’m 48 yrs old and I’ve lived in Florida my whole life. I’ve watched Kelly since he was a kid he’s just one year younger than me. An aerial is a maneuver. The aerial which is great, and a high performance maneuver that deserves its acknowledgment of tough it is to execute it has taken away from the greatness of surfing that isn’t about aerials. And that is where Kelly set the standard of what surfing is actually all about.

So how do I put this...I was surfing alone at Kirra early in the morning 3 to 4 ft.believe it or not didnt know where I was surfing that day (my first and only trip to australia 1987).After surfing about 20 waves I was at the top by the groin when I see about 7 kids running full speed towards me with there boards There was this dark kid ahead of the pack he hits the water paddles straight up to me an asked me where I was from and asked if he could surf the spot.I told him I didnt own the place and ride any wave you want. I was impressed by his humbleness I had heard of him and did recognize him. I got out of the water immediately just because I had got my waves. He was there for a grom contest.a couple other notable guys in that group was peter mel(my freind) and chris gallagher both santa cruz guys. I think Andy irons was there as well (not sure). Funny how 35 years goes by with a blink of an eye. Cheers kelly you are the man.

So i do hve something want write, and im not sure how kelly slater will or weel wheel feal about this.. So imagine if the the prime weapon on the streets is tazer or taser guns. Like the ones the cops carry (the tazer probes so to speak), instead of people having pistols and ar 15s stuff, they just go with taser guns,.. so as self deense, people are packing tazer guns that hooks in.... so *IMPORTANT* I truley believe, the worst case scnerio is, *IMPORTANT* TGB , What does it look like when a cop get tazed, instead of shot at on camerea, do they fall down, shit or piss there pants ( live to fiight or protect another day.) a bullet proofvest really does shit or nothing to a tazer gun... on t.v. its going to look horrible, even if the person lives and is just fine, compared to a gun shot.... Would you rather "people packng heat, meaning they a got a tazer gun with hooks, or a fuckin gun so to speak...?) TGB the way i mean it I guess im writng this, becuase i really want to know, kelly slater if your reading this, how do you feel?
