This is a video of the 2022 Whatcom County Youth Fair, Lawn Mower Pulls. Filmed on the second and last day, April 9th, 2022. The Whatcom County Youth Fair was held at the Northwest Washington Fair and Event Center in Lynden, WA.
A lot of the people in this video are first time pullers so they are still learning all the tricks of the pulling sport. All footage is either from the first or second pull of the day for the specific driver.
The video quality is not the best as I continually had camera troubles including SD card becoming corrupt and deleting all footage up to that point (thus the reason of some of the 2nd hooks of the day). Please note there is also a chance that not everyone who pulled will be in the video for the above mentioned reason and I apologize for that, and names may be mixed up so feel free to correct that in the comments below.
A special thanks goes out the members of the “Puget Sound Antique Tractor and Machinery Association” (PSATMA) that helped put this great event on for all the kids.
Next pulling date will be May 7th, 2022 at the West Field of Berthusen Park, Lynden WA.
