I wish they had spent a few more seconds on Deadpool and Kid Apocalypse. For those that don't know: X-Force was tasked with stopping Apocalypse's cult's attempt to revive him. After the team stormed the stronghold, they found that Apocalypse was already brought back as a young boy. Some of the team still wanted to kill him, but Deadpool objected. Fantomex shot the kid anyway (taking DNA samples to make a clone). Later on, Deadpool expressed his displeasure with Wolverine. Wolverine insulted Deadpool, saying he's a mercenary and therefore he has no morals to begin with. Deadpool responded along the lines of "Yea, but I don't kill kids." When the clone was eventually discovered, Deadpool became sort of surrogate uncle to the kid.

I had a friend who always cosplayed as Deadpool for movie openings and hospital visits. When the first movie came out, he claimed they took the character and made him dark and violent but he was going to continue portraying the character as funny and kind hearted (or something like that). It's possible his strength is just a side effect of his healing factor. Humans are a lot stronger than we think we are, because usually we're holding back from our full strength so we don't hurt ourselves, something that only changes when adrenaline or methamphetamines are involved. That's not an issue for Wade, since he heals so fast, so he can use his full strength without having to worry about hurting himself.

Even wolverine can feel pain you guys know when wolverine gets shot by bullets or a missile or get stabbed he looks like his having a hardtime cause he can feel pain like any normal people would feel its just the fact that they heal fast that they don't really worry that much about pain but they still worry like a lil bit. and i just noticed that deadpools healing factor is better and greater than wolverines.

@SmokeyMountainSuccubus Жыл бұрын
Most movies make it mediocre by doing the "just pretend it's totally like a straight couple" which is better than mockery but isn't quite full on gay rep. @hrishiv274 жыл бұрын
That’s not necessarily a fair comparison. Negasonic and Yukio had maybe three lines that showed they were in a relationship, and eight minutes of screen time in the film overall, whereas Captain Marvel was literally the protagonist. It would be just as easy to argue that fans simply ignored it because it was in no way relevant to the plot, or the arcs of any major characters.

Actually, Deadpool's powers are just a bit more potent version of Deathstroke's (except for Deathstroke's superior strangth) without the enhanced super human functions... Unless his 4th wall breaking is just a more powerful version of it. And they're both former villains on the path of redemption. They are also peek human fighters and excellent marksmen. They both also have family that became the villains that they themselves used to be, resulting in them having to fight them and while also fighting to be forgiven by their kids and get along. The creator even went on to say that Deadpool was supposed to be a paredy of Deathstroke.
@toxxik49335 жыл бұрын
actually according to the creators he both is and isn't pansexual. to say deadpan is definitively anything just states a lack of understanding of is character, deadpool is everything and nothing, at any given time he could legitimately be anything and nothing he was before. he is a character with a complex enough mind that telepaths usually either die or are scared for life when they look in his head. his entire purpose is that you don't know what you'll get from him

Deadpool's relationships Blind Al: Helpless target/sage advice Weasel: His "guy in the chair" or more like "guy with all the guns." Bob: Buddy from the Henchmen Academy. Highly respects Bob for surviving as a henchman for so long without any powers, and knows that without his own power, he would be in the same boat or worse. Hulk; DP's ultimate foil. He can't do anything to the big guy, and he can't stop him from doing anything to him, also Hulk doesn't get his jokes. Hawkeye: Merc pals/rivals. Someone he can relate to more than anyone else and is a pretty decent match. Ironman: Knows when DP is full of shit, and doesn't buy any of it. But surprisingly can have trouble fighting him if DP is prepared for it. Thor: Can pretty easily defeat DP on any given day, but isn't annoyed by him or anything. In fact, because he's so powerful but kinda dumb, DP likes the guy, if not for the sake of teasing someone so powerful, and getting away with it. Black Widow: Costly Eye Candy Cpt.America: Totally fangirls over him. Cap is everything that DP isn't, and he loves that. Wolverine: reluctant allies. He's a pretty even match for DP, but unlike Hawkeye, Wolverine takes his teasing personally and is easily angered, prompting DP to troll him even more. But they still regularly team up because of their similar skill set, and anti-hero status. Cable: Slightly less reluctant ally. Also similarly matched, and knows DP is full of shit, and is annoyed by his teasing, but doesn't take it personally. And his affinity for guns gives them a common interest. Domino: love interest/rival. Pretty much the Black Cat to his Spider-Man. They hook up once in a while and they are very similar but neither of them want to get too attached because of the life they both lead. Also they both keep kill-stealing eachother's marks. Spider-Man: Best Bros/Complete Enemies. It's always one or the other. They have nearly an identical sense of humor and fashion sense, and they're both highly skilled and clever fighters, but their stances on murder is the one thing that puts them at odds half the time.

I have theory about why he respected Captain America in that particular sequence. Since Cap was Cap Hydra and Deadpool knew about it. Reasons a. Deadpool was also a part of Hydra and knew about it the whole time so he was cool with it or b. Since Deadpool is a 4th-wall breaking character he knew about the whole comic as it was being written, and therefore knew Cap was part of Hydra and didn't mind. Just something to think about...

deadpool loves working with a team, in fact, he's apart of my super hero team as a permanent member, he was even a member of my parents super hero team, sure he's a bit of a nutcase, but the occasional pranks (i mean constint) do have some fun factor to them, he's the crazy fun uncle i never had

I never cared for comics or there caricatures. Then I saw Deadpool and I can't get enough. His dialogue is real human like with all our perverse and off the cuff thinking that most keep to them selves. You know where you stand with someone so honest with there thought and words. I like and people like that. I am that way. Even when it makes others uncomfortable, because those I do are usually fake anyways.

And then took the curse back later, so now he can be killed again, yeah, I remember that.

You also forgot the comic where deadpool has a kid (can't remember if adopted or actual) and she gets kidnapped. He goes full archer on the kidnappers, it's by far one of my favorite deadpool stories.

you failed to mention his relationship with honey badger/gabrielle kinney, it covers both the "team up" and "good with kids" points

a couple things about him and kids. one thing is that he is in a kids cartoon called ultimate Spiderman for an episode. That is where I first learned of his existence. so, he can be written in a way that is appropriate for kids without ruining the character. Another thing is that he once did go insane enough to kill kids himself. That was in the comic "Deadpool kills the marvel universe".

You forgot that he's so insane his mind can't be read by mind readers as a power (saw this in a comic, maybe not true for all deadpool appearances).

Chimichangas aren't Deadpool's favorite food. He actually just loves saying the word his favorite food is empanadas.

Um, his only real superpower is a healing factor, even says so in his marvel bio. He gets the strength and agility from this, as he can use his muscles at full potential without having to worrying about muscles being destroyed. Human muscles are far stronger than most people think, the brain limits this. Thats why people can do amazing fits of strength in times of extreme pressure, the rush of adrenaline can override this. Look it up

Actually an important factor about mutants with healing factors is that they have huge appetites. They have to eat a s*** ton to keep that healing Factor going and to do that well Deadpool makes a buttload of pancakes because that's one of his favorite foods.
