Probably showing my age, but the reveal of Tatanka being the sellout to Dibiase and not Lex Luger was a helluva shocker at the time. They did an awesome job making everyone believe it was Luger up until the end

Edge cash in his MIB 1 and 2 I think should be here, nobody expected those and were great surprises leading to awesome feuds (Edge vs Cena and Edge vs Taker). Also Andre the Giant turning against Hulk Hogan and revealing have become a Bobby Heenan guy was freaking amazing at the time and let to one of the most iconic Wrestlemania moment of all times...how is that one not in the list?.

Vince being the Higher Power wasn't shocking. There was literally only one person in the WWE who had a higher position than Shane. It was obviously Vince.

At 8:09, As I recall, Triple H pedigreed X-Pac towards the end of X-Pac’s match. That’s how X-Pac lost. I know it was a long time ago but I still remember how that match went down.

In fairness, and I'm pretty sure you've pointed it out before, but the *original* idea was to have the Higher Power be Mick Foley - but he declined because he either felt he couldn't do the feud justice due to how beat-up he was, or because the Heel turn would blindside everyone. I can't remember which, though.

Vince McMahon as the higher power also lead to the formation of The Corporate-Ministry. It was downhill from there as Undertaker lost a ton of the intimidation factor and mystique, becoming just another McMahon thug.

Most people knew vince was the higher power seconds before it was revealed cause they played a bad quality vhs of vince on the titantron making it obvious it was a recording and hence vince was under the hood

What about who ran over Stone Cold? I loved Stone Cold’s heel turn. It made sense to me that a desperate STO e Cold would make a deal with the devil to get the belt. Even his betrayal of the WWF to the WCW made sense with Vince rejecting his hugs. :) My only regret is that they didn’t have the Vince/Stone Cold/Angle relationship going. That was hilarious.

The higher power according to Brother Love himself was supposed to be Jake the Snake Roberts, but he fell to drugs after being clean for a little while. Glad DDP saved Jake's life. Better later than never.

I was shovked with dean Ambrose's heel turn. Yea we all knew it was coming but when they pulled the trigger it was still shocking because they pulled it the very same night roman reigns announced his cancer. I honestly did not think they weee going to have him turn on that night but when they did i was left mouth wide open in shocked

Never understood why people hated on the invasion angle...of course Hogan, Goldberg and Sting werent going to sign to WWF. Not sure why people thought they would. They all basically said they would never sign there for any reason (then they all did anyways) it was still well done and fun to watch.

The reason they didn’t go right to WWE is because they had different contracts than most of the WCW guys. Their contracts were AOL/Time Warner contracts and not WCW contracts. Of the guys who had those only Booker T and DDP went to WWE right away. They had to give up the guaranteed money of those contracts, which were BIG and sign new deals with WWE. Hogan, Goldberg, Flair and the rest who had those deals just stayed at home and collected their big paychecks from AOL/Time Warner and then signed with WWE pretty much immediately when they expired.

#8 - I think Jordan kinda made sense. They have similar wrestling styles, and facial features close enough to where I can see a scripted biological connection being viable. It was still dumb that they did it, though. #7 - I loved it because Rollins is a crappy wrestler, so selling out to get a world title makes sense.
