In general though, non-degreed jobs earn less. The technicians I work with on my engineering job only get $60,000 annual (plus overtime)

@@electrictroy2010 I should have been more specific about these jobs I had in mind are trade jobs. Right now there is a shortage which is causing salaries to increase, especially in industrial electrical work and controls automation. I saw a job posting the other day for a Facilities Electrician at a plant near me with a $10K sign on bonus.
