This time I needed a outdoor table thats not just practical and modern looking
but also thats durable. So I build a table out of concrete with a small
Walnut accent. The table looks like a carved rock, and is just as rock solid!

Very nice, not only a functional table but a work of art too. Walnut is my favorite hardwood, very easy to work with and it smells amazing. I discovered a finish that looks awesome on both walnut and mahogany. It's 1 coat of double boiled linseed oil followed by multiple coats of orange shellac. The more coats of shellac you apply, the more lustrous it gets. BTW, be careful in those crop-tops, you could pick up a nasty sliver

You can also use mica and cement dust plus water of course to produce realistic rocks and boulders pressed into a chicken mesh frame. I saw some Hollywood set people use this method on film props and it’s an amazing technique. Does not need painting.

Hi there Any reason you didn't cut the 45 on the 4x4 by rotating the saw round but keeping the blade plumb? That way it would have the capacity to cut right through the timber.

That would have been a way too. It’s just a tiny piece that needed to be cut off, so I figured it’s the most convenient way 😃

its rock hard, the table looks pretty solid as well. the texture and color came out very well. you have an attentiveness and style thats pretty unique, but yor projects come out very well

I knew beforehand I wanted to get my wife down stairs to work with me on projects. This video only reconfirms why I want to help her learn so I have a extra hand to help with projects. It too much fun to make stuff.
