A special rendition of ''Les Misérables''' hit number "Bring Him Home" has been recorded to celebrate the NHS.
Alfie Boe, Ramin Karimloo, John Owen-Jones, David Shannon, Alistair Brammer, Fra Fee and Rob Houchen, who are all former cast members of ''Les Misérables'', appear on the track, alongside hit foursome The Barricade Boys.
The video is introduced by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on the set of ''This Morning'', with Schofield saying: "Our NHS have always been our guardian angels, selflessly taking care of us when we need them. What they are expected to do now requires superhuman talent, strength, care and total commitment. Yet there they are, on the frontline for us, battling with everything they have to try to save us.
"That’s why I’m behind this and any other project that collectively forms a nationwide, deafening chorus of 'Thank you, you are incredible, we appreciate every single one of you and we will do anything we can to help you through these unprecedented times'."
Scott Garnham, founder of The Barricade Boys says: "Music has this incredible power to make people stop and listen. "Bring Him Home" will resonate with so many people - it’s a trying and scary time for everyone but we still have a lot to be grateful for, in particular, our incredible NHS. This is just a very small way of saying thank you."

No charging of a few hundred bucks a ticket. No lights, sets, costumes, not even a stage. Just a group of Valjeans, in everyday dress, reaching out from their own homes to bring a story of hope in tough times to the people going through such times, themselves included. Victor Hugo would be very proud.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom a year ago, and the waves of grief still wash over me at unexpected times. The paperwork and settling the estate, etc. can be daunting, but you WILL get through it. Just take it one day at a time, and know that some days will be better/easier than others, and that's perfectly normal. The most important thing right now is to give yourself permission to grieve in all the ways you need to, and to practice extreme self-care for yourself. Be gentle with yourself and others, and don't forget to ask for help as you need it. Sending you much love and hugs, and prayers for you and your family as you navigate through this difficult time.

snemelka And my mother, who died a few weeks ago, was supposed to be honored at a memorial Mass and luncheon today, but it all had to be cancelled due to the current restrictions on gatherings. I could not sleep last night, either. My condolences to you.

With the tragedy in Ukraine and the many men and women, children and seniors at catastrophic risk due to the Russian invasion, I find this collective piece of musical brilliance more essential and more moving that at any other time in our generation's time. Support the Ukrainian right to their homeland. Share this message across borders if you can.

Goosebumps, just beautiful. Saw les mis in London at end of feb. Prob one of the last shows till lockdown. This song made me cry and my 10 yr old son just squeezed my hand. It’s a beautiful song. Thank. You for reminding me only 4weeks ago everything was normal. Won’t be long and it can be normal again #stayathome

Just wondering who was playing Valjean when it closed? Best friend saw it and said it was phenomenal but couldn't remember the name of who played Valjean.

yjrb1324 as far as i know it was Jon Robyns who played him, and he was amazing. I saw it 10 yrs ago when Alfie boe was playing him and I didn’t think anyone would top that. To be fair though Jon Robyns came extremely close!! 😀

This is beautiful and full of soul! Do yourselves all a favor and listen to it with your eyes closed so you can't see the singers, only hear them. It will blow you away. I listened to this about 8 times, then decided tonight to listen again with my eyes shut. What a difference! It was beautiful before, but just listening without watching made it heavenly. No distraction from watching faces or background. Amazing harmony as they sang parts together, and poignant, sweet purity of sound as they sang their individual parts. Thank you all for this wonderful gift to us.

Ohmygoodness. Deep breath here. I wisely removed my glasses at the start of this video because I know this song to be beautiful and am quite the emotional being lately. Indeed I got to the center or bit past, the beauty became so exquisite I overflowed into sobs. Gorgeous. Thank you SO MUCH! /applause

Jow2K : Yes, beautiful for a great cause. Now I would like to turn you on to a duet of “ bring him home” that was unrehearsed and featured in a 1992 sick kids telethon in Canada Michael Burgess ( Canadian Valjean) and Colm ( originator in NY) Sadly Michael Burgess very recently passed away so in tribute and along with Colm, please you tube “ Colm Michael Burgess bring him home” please bear in mind as Colm was leaving Michael brought him back to perform the duet spur of the moment unrehearsed. Then please KZfaq Michaels single recorded rendition “ Michael Burgess Bring him home” R. I. P. Michael. Let me know what you all think. Please react in tribute to Michael. I’m certain he’s in heaven watching your reaction surround ed by celestial angels. Please. All love, Al
