Why does Raj/Pooja give in to the plan to split them up? What made their kids so greedy? Why does no one willing want to take care of the parents? And why would Raj/Pooja even want to stay with such ungrateful people in the first place? Why didn’t they just downsize and have the kids pitch in money? If you had no plan after retirement, would you expect your friends (who aren’t rich) to take care of you indefinitely? No, right? Then don’t expect it from your adult kids with their own adult lives. What happens if one parent dies? What if they need medical help that’s only available in a nursing home? You shouldn’t do things for your children with the intention that they’ll “owe” you one. You do it because you love them and you are a good person. You SHOULD NOT HAVE TO emotionally blackmail your children into wanting to take care of you. That’s how you create resentment. As children grow up they should not be dependent on their parents. Their failure or success should be their own. That also means they have their own lives and priorities. Everything in the movie is predicated on the understanding that wives should be demure caretakers and husbands should be breadwinners that finically support past and future generations. Alok loves and respects his parents, yet Raj/Pooja don’t consider him the first choice to take care of them. Why? Because he’s adopted? It is because Raj/Pooja gave him a “better life” therefore Alok feels indebted to them. The movie treats love and respect as transactional.

Oof yaar.. I too made a stupid mistake by trying to clean my 1 month old laptop with sanitizer and it damaged the screen. I was too proud of the clarity of the screen and it's all dull and black 😢😢

Quick update: After an hour I checked and my laptop is working fine. I'm really happy but still turned it off and kept under the fan, hopefully no future problems will occur.

@@WittyScoop no the technician said to replace the screen. I got to know that it costs almost 22000 🥲 almost half the price of laptop at the Hp service centre. Then I visited a general computer store. There i got to know that it will cost around 6000. I got some heavenly relief. But I decided to fix this later because the screen is almost clear even now just some dull (sorry for exaggerating in the previous comment😅) and i don't need laptop for any work.
