That looks so easy to use!!. I have to get one for my garden really soon!. The people that lived here before us threw every thing they could in the yard, so It's hard to till it up. This would work perfect! It's hard for me to dig a lot and get the soil ready. I was in a bad car accident 10 years ago and it slowly creeps up on me every now and than, but it's something I will never give up. It's such a passion of mine. I'm almost all the way switched over organically which is really exciting

Slightly smaller but far more effective is the Wolf Garten Soil Miller - the wheel is replaced by a rotating tined wheel with the oscillating hoe behind. It has revolutionised the way I garden as I can go over a huge area in minutes plus the rotating tines flick up weeds and stones to the surface so they can be picked up easily. Three friends have bought them on my recommendation and they've all been amazed at how effective it is.

My dad had a larger metal wheel version of this type of thing that was called a push plow that I remember him using in the 50’s till he was unable to use it in the late 80’s before he passed away. His had wooden handles and interchangeable attachments

I'm surprised that none of the models have a kickbar so that you can use the force of your legs to push through the tough spots. Is the frame not strong enough to handle the load of that kind of operation? From an engineering and body mechanics perspective it makes since to be able to apply the working force as close as possible to the resistance being applied to the tool. Having to use your arms at that distance will tire anyone out much faster than necessary. In other words, this tool seems most appropriate only for maintaining garden beds that are already well established and soft. If it's going to work well for any moderate to heavy cultivation it needs more weight at the ground, a sturdier frame and a kickbar.
