I can't tell if you're kidding with me or you just really don't understand the concept of a joke. Well I'll explain it anyway: So in this video it's revealed that there are 10 T's on the board. I made a pun of the popular phrase "Only Nineties kids will remember this", except I replaced "Nineties" with "9 T's", in reference to the many T's on the board. I felt it was necessary to clarify that there were a total of 10 T's on the board because of course someone would reply with "BuT tHeRe'S aCtUaLLy 10!!!¡¡!!" And while I'm at it, Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueius the Wise?

@TheMstoth No, the Mystery wedge is a choice - you either take the $1000 per letter OR flip the wedge, not both. So JP had it right, it would be a tremendously dumb move to flip the wedge in this situation. Also consider that the $10,000 from flipping the wedge is treated as a prize wedge, so it's not money that can be used to buy vowels.

@@samrowe2889 The way the mystery wedge works is that it initially starts as a normal $1,000 wedge, where you get $1,000 for the number of times that the letter you guess appears (for example, there were 10 T's, so the contestant got $10,000). After a successful guess, the contestant has the option to flip the mystery wedge, or leave it. If he leaves it, he simply takes the money he would have earned, in this case $10,000, and moves on. If he decides to flip the wedge, he has to take what is on the underside of the wedge *instead* of the money he would have earned. The underside can either be $10,000 or Bankrupt. So in this scenario, the contestant's options were to either leave the wedge and win $10,000, or flip the wedge and have a 50/50 chance between $10,000 and bankruptcy.

I've been watching WOF recently and noticed a few consistency's with the mystery puzzle. SO at the beginning it shows the 10,000 in the middle of the 700 and 650 and every time someone has landed on the mystery that is in-between them it has always been 10,000

No. The $10,000 is just $10,000. If there is 1 of your letter, or 36, you still just get the $10,000.

He got 1000 for each letter. Under the tab was either 10k or bankrupt. If you get 1 or 2 letters in this situation it miggt be worth the risk. But he already had the 10k that he couldve got so why chance bankrupt
