Nice video… I’m a C5-C6 quad and was checking if it’s safe for us quadriplegics to get adjustments from a chiropractor? I have a C5-C6 fusion in my neck so idk if getting my neck cracked(adjustment) is a good idea? Is it safe to get neck adjusted if a client has a SCI? Wouldn’t want to damage my neck or the metal plate/screws etc in my neck right now, ya know? Let me know please thanks!

Hey! Definitely go to someone who has experience with SCI and takes time to do an assessment with you, it doesn’t need to be a chiropractor, PTs may be a good option as well. We can direct the adjustments to the upper cervical spine which had more of our rotation anyways. I stay away from the area with hardware to be safe.
