Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior defines “driving pleasure” in a pure and simple manner which seems to be forgotten nowadays in the pursuit of more power and “ring” lap times. When you are in a gorgeously sculpted body that is as light as a feather, a few horses without the watch of computer chips is all you need; provided that you have an excuse for a drive... Alfa Romeo at its finest.

Excellent made video. Well planned, shot, and executed. There's no need for any wording when this beauty appears. Makes me lamenting so much of my past times. One thing that was missing in this great video is the captivating metal sound at 6000 RPM, so unique to this car (and the kick you get at your rear end). And the missing Alfa logo on the center of the steering wheel. Albeit gray is not my favorite color necessarily, this car looks good at ANY color. Mine was metal-turquoise (sky blue metallic); it really stood out.

I am an Alfista i got all the models from the alfetta era Infortunatly i did not own any of the 105 series maybe one day I just bought 1982 alfetta sedan 2 lt and 1981 giulietta 2.0 lt i love the transaxle alfas.

The gloves. Gotta have the gloves, right? In my younger years I had the privilege of owning 1st a 124 Spider, 2nd a 124 Sport Coupe and 3rd a 1750GTV, and yes I wore gloves while on a long drive on hot days. The gloves would get wet from perspiration but it was still more comfortable than having bare sweaty hands on the wooden wheel. On the other hand, when I was out for a short casual drive around town I loved the feel of the wooden wheel and shift knob on my bare hands. To each his own. And yes I regret parting with each of those three vehicles. That GT Junior is beautiful.

I thoroughly enjoyed the video! Have you done any long distance travel with this Alfa Romeo Giulia? I'm looking to buy one myself ,any tips to look out for?

Many thanks! I would be glad if you could share it. :) The car is a friend's but I have good knowledge about them. The most important thing to look out for is rust! These cars dissolve like sugar in coffee so it is very important to find a car with a solid body. The rest is fairly simple really. The engine was very sophisticated for its time but compared to today's electronical stuff, it is not hard to maintain. Most of the parts are readily available as well. Cheers!
