The concept for Dreamweaver started long before van conversions were known to this adventurous couple (T&M). Many years of their lives were spent sailing the Atlantic Coast, where they grew an appreciation for both spontaneous, free travel and the art of marine craftsmanship.
As they turned their adventures to land, the prospect of building a custom van conversion felt akin to their previous passions and Dreamweaver’s concept started to unfold (although it gained it’s wonderful name much later in the process).
T&M approached Yama with a vision for a functional, well-built cozy home for the road. They had great romanticism for the design process and we worked together to create an interior design that balanced modern minimalism with thoughtful details for off-grid exploring.
