Nice restoration, but I was waiting for the old paint scheme to be redone because that looked awesome. This looks a little too plain to me. I like the big wheels, shame they dont spin but on a shelf no one can tell.

I really liked how it turned out. That mudder look fits what my friends had with their Broncos, Pickups, and even Suburbans back in the day. Doing a 4 or 6 inch lift kit was all the craze, especially in the 70's when Big Foot first hit the scene. Nice project!

Qué trabajo bien hecho... Regreso a mi infancia (años 60's)... y de estos Matchbox tuve mi colección de unos 50 miniaturas. Conservo solo dos de todos ellos: Un Mercedes Benz modelo 60 y un Jeep descapotado que su color original era amarillo y asientos rojos. Están bastante deteriorados, pues aguantaron muchos años de juego. Realmente me provoca iniciar su restauración... y lo voy a hacer. Es un milagro que después de varias décadas hayan 'sobrevivido' estos dos. MUCHAS GRACIAS por estos videos tan chéveres... que: ¡'Recordar es VIVIR'!.

older vid i know but i like that u painted the bike and the interior. i respect alot of the other guys doing a strict restoration but i like a little more detail work like you did.

I think the restore was fine, and it looked good, you did it for your collection in a style you liked, and you saved it from the trash bin, Great Job< I would have liked the wheels to roll but it looked great.

The wheels and tires look good on it imo how hot wheels should habe made all off road vehicles to begin with sure wish i had some of the ones i had when i was a kid 40 years ago some of them are worth some money I think i may take the metal detector out back im sure some are still burried there from near 40 years ago

EXCELLENT JOB, especially with the Paint Techniques! However, I so wished you Restored to Original parts and paint. Maybe it's just TOO HARD but I think that's what Vintage Hot Wheels are ALL ABOUT. The way you feel when you see that Original Restoration is PRICELESS>

Love it!!!! If you wanted you could Dremel out the wheel wells a bit to clear the tires. That's how we do it on full size ones. Just clear them out up to that next line.

It looks great , good job , I just really dig the original paint job with the bronco decal on the hood and the stripes on the side , wish you would have recreated that it’s probably really hard though

I have that same Bronco in near Mint Condition. I bought it in about 1977. one of my favorites.

When I was a kid one of my neighbors had the black ford pickup with the rainbow stripes like your bronco. And then he bought a 2nd one... I think his plan was to use the 2nd one as a parts truck because northern winters had taken its toll on the 1st truck. That crazy paint scheme really stood out. Very 70's.
