Wide whitewalls are a 1950s vibe. A 70s vibe would be blackwalls with painted manufacturer lettering, e.g., Goodyear or Firestone, or even hotter, red line tires a la Pontiac GTO. I know. I was alive in the 50s and onward. :)

Love how that turned out. Needs a custom Tampo to go fully cheesy 70s. You jogged something in my memory of having one of these Jackers. I totally forgot.

Holy hayseed and happy day!! Pfff I love that color, and the pearlescent paints (tho they are fiddly for me through the air brush) are a beautiful and an excellent choice! Bonus, that it is quite the perk it hides a lot of work/sanding/polishing that didn’t have to be done. Whew!! I actually enjoy this model, pretty unique! Also I’m glad you decided to slap some paint on the inner details. It’s the little things. 😉 Nice restore/custom, also also love the white walls. Totally “retro” cool (haha read, I feel old) Chipper cheerios and take care! 😎🤩

I had to comment again, that engine came out SO SICK!! That paint detail with the color you chose for Base & silver lugz, AMAZING 🤩I was also thinking 🤔 can u make windows on the sides? Can something like that be done?
