TCU Baseball and Oral Roberts Baseball played an elimination game in the 2023 College World Series. The winner would advance to the final four and play Florida in the bracket final, needing 2 consecutive wins in elimination games to advance to the College World Series Finals.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

I dont think ORU should feel ashamed what so ever for their performance. Plate Umps havent been great at all this WS but they put on a good show proving that even small time schools can make it big

Whether that last pitch was actually in the zone or not does not matter, 2 strikes and 2 outs with your season on the line you battle to keep the at bat alive, don't take the decision out of your hands

Deception of the runner. Never established if he was coming from the stretch or the wind up. Took the rubber ball in his glove and then went straight into the pitch with runners on. Which is functionally the same as not coming set, because there was nothing to “come set” from. Took the rubber feet together but sideways, like he was coming from the stretch l, but he went straight into the pitching motion like he’s in the windup. It definitely looks weird when you see the whole thing. But wouldn’t be noticeable on edits that begin with the pitching motion.

@@jeffreyhillbom6032 guys are probably better now days. It's to give the runner a fair shot at a lead off or steal. Balk rules aren't new so you probably just didn't know them or have umps calling them. Balks have been around since 1898. No, that's not a typo. Over 120 years. Don't think you played that long ago. It's probably just a funny interpretation of a balk rule that you are already aware of.
