An intriguing fact about the Wheezer from Martyr. It was described to be missing it's lower jaw, with the sides of the cheeks just hanging there. However, it took notice of the boy who found it and actually stared at him. The next part is truly frightening, as the book says the Wheezer smiled at him.

If anything is in such a sorry state, immobile and literally pumped up with poison, yet still *smiles* at you, then it becomes a really terrifying thought. How many of the Necromorph forms could still be "alive" in such a way, with their minds twisted to a horrendous degree that they are more malicious intelligence than human?

@@moriskurth628 well the thing is the most twisted forms tend to be reserved for the people who resist the most, like the wall guardian screams in agony constantly, the exploders converse with each other, and the wheezers apparently have emotions, i think it leaves the person mentally functioning because you can't really torture something that isn't intact in the brain, so its not that they are malicious, the persons brain is still there but they aren't controlling anything, but that might be an exception for the wheezer because of its function, the brain is still in control of the head and throat because they are trying to breathe, and since they can't actually get air in, they just constantly breathe in and out and expel more of the toxic gas, so if the boy was the once-was-a-persons child, then yeah i wouldn't be surprised if they smiled at him but thats just my thoughts

The Wheezer is most likely designed to secure an area that the Necromorph have taken over. By rendering the atmosphere impossible to breathe, it ensures that nothing can try and slip past the advancing waves of necromorphs to retake the area, as well as flush out anyone still left alive in the area. We never saw them in Dead Space 2 because of how recently the Necromorph outbreak had started, and in Dead Space 3, there wasn't a need to poison the air: The planet's environment was already incredibly hostile to living creatures, there was no native plant-life left to kill, and the aliens that lived there were water-breathers anyway.

The Wheezers in DS3 were in a hallucination mission of Carver’s coop mission anyways as that entire mission you’ve seen the Wheezers in was just through Carver’s mind. He was blacked out in the elevator.

Imagine the scene from the jimmy neutron opening where carl screams "HEHLLLPP" as he runs from that horde of sentient pants Now replace it with him begging for help as a necromorph slowly advances upon him After he screams for help the opening ends and the episode is continued as normal but carl is nowhere to be found.

Calvin Parsons, there is a problem (for me at least). I only play on PS4, not because I'm a fan boy of the platform but due to me being a college student. What I'll do is create a Steam account (or whatever account I need to) and purchase the game if/when it comes out just for the sake of supporting it. You got more than just pc gamers rooting for you Mr. Parsons.

@@EmeraldDragonfly57 I agree. It is sad to see people being like this. I mean, I'm all for equality (provided it is reasonable). Besides, while consoles are less powerful, you shouldn't need to 'dumb down' anything. Also, the PC guys have about 8 options for graphics, audio, and setup for every category, and every game. While the Console players only have 1 graphics setting (medium), and a few audio and setup options in each category. Also, I own both a PC and an Xbox, so I know that I am talking about here. You don't need to be an asshole just because you feel that you are so high and mighty for owning a PC that you have to crap on everybody else just because you have such an inflated ego. You need to grow up, Mr. Z. And I am not ending this on an emotional note. I am ending this on a factual note. Lincoln was shot only a few hours after creating the Secret Service, and the general consensus is that you need to rethink your priorities, and grow up.

I literally just finished my Dead Space 1 playthrough, and encountering these things is by far the creepiest part of the entire game for me. The fact that the lung tissue expands OUTSIDE the body and the wheezing sound they make while breathing in, pure nightmare fuel

If you played through Extraction at the end you get a view from Nathan as a necromorph so there’s a huge chance that once you become a necromorph you retain some vestige of yourself inside of the corpse but all you can do is watch as you kill people

Be surprised what you can learn n find out yourself also. Yes taking a course in uni or college obviously helps n is a "official and creditable source" but it's always neat to take in details n observe monsters n creatures and how they stack up. First time I ever went deep into something like that was because of interest in dragons, like how some can use fire attacks n such. Very neat. I nerd out into it!

A lot of people living in those smog cities would probably become wheezers. So if a person with breathing issues becomes a wheezers.... What does a drug addict become? Roanoke, I know it's very early to even consider this. But could you do another versus match between the Chimera and some other species? This was a creature I forgot existed in Dead Space. You don't see them very much and are really easy to kill. I'm glad you did a video over these things, Roanoke.

@@patriousthefallenknight3185 There is a small minority of people who believe that vaccines are counterintuitive, useless, or downright dangerous to people. Specifically for children. The explanation is that vaccines cause or at the very least increase the likely hood of someone becoming autistic, amongst other things. These people believe this due to what they've read online and possibly due to very bad experiences with doctors in the past. While I don't think these people are smart about how they act, how they're treated just for trying to explain their experiences isn't acceptable either.

Negative atmosphere looks really cool! However, I wanna suggest some monsters they can possibly use. They are the following: scarab and harvester. The scarab is going to be a creature in a beetle-like position. The legs have pretty much melted together, and the arms and some of the rib cage have been used to create six bone legs. It also appears that the chest is ripped wide open, revealing that the organ systems are missing. It is at a height of 4 feet and length of 8. The harvester is going to be an absolute mess of a creature; limbs coming from the chest with blades attached, legs pretty much just all over the place, and face it split into four to form a new mouth. It stands at 7 feet tall and is as bulky as a tank.

Their are now a few more, but pls don’t push me, its kinda hard to make these up, considering I’m trying to keep these as original as possible. Anyways, the new forms are the devastator, rodent, and “Jack.” The devastator is a boss, and looks a lot like the Cerberus that I also made up (I did put it in one as a comment in one of these videos, but I can’t remember which one. Oh well.), with a few differences: it only has one massive head constructed from a single corpse (with the lower torso being the neck), its feet can actually grab hold of the player, and it is much bigger (the Cerberus was made from 10 corpses, the devastator is made from 25, jeez). It is appropriately called the devastator because its unusual want to destroy life systems on ships; it will destroy generators, split air vents, and demolish food supplies. The rodent is an absolute nightmare to look at (it is going to look like a lurker after taking meth and does not look like its brain is on the outside of its head), especially considering the fact that it walks like if it were possessed (no explanation needed for that). It may also cause people who have triphobia to go insane, as there is a load of randomly placed holes containing parasites all over the back, which appears to have grown 1 foot out. It’s going to act a lot like a velociraptor, spreading fear, and will stalk out anyone alone that it encounters. It sounds like someone trying to gurgle chili while coughing (that is actually really disgusting). “Jack” is a going to be the most human of these three, as he stands up straight and has an almost identifiable face (minus the fact that the mouth is now past the cheek bones and is filled with canine teeth and missing lips), but this is not a human. Features include a crazed stare that is gonna haunt your nightmares, the right hand has become a mace made of flesh and bone, the right arm has grown larger to support the newly formed mace, and the lower torso’s top layer of flesh is gone and exposing the muscle. It still has grasp on reality, as it will randomly shout random cries, such as “HELP ME HELP ME!” “JUST END THE PAIN!” and “SOMEONE HELP ME!” (this just got really dark). Even though it is named “Jack”, that is not its real name. The purpose of it is going to be a lot like the hunter, only this time it is gonna be screaming at you and isn’t going constantly regenerating (btw it’s indestructible, due to the skin becoming armor). Btw I did not expect to get this far with my imagination, but apparently it has. Thank you! (Edit: just a side note, I reposted this in a new comment, along with a small thanks and note.)

That dancing necromorph at 12:48 scared the begeebus out of me because I looked away for a split second, looked back and it was doing the arm swing while approaching portion of its anim and that freaked me out more than anything I've seen in the dead space trilogy.
